Rustic 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 400 yards from lake
Why Betty chose Dandridge
This property is great in that it is close to all the fun activities of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and Dollywood. It's also close to marinas for those who wish to rent boats etc. We do have lake access but NOT lake frontage and our access area is open to the public as it is a county road, 1/4 mile walk from the ranch, and NOT our property so we apologize for any trash found there but it is what it is. It's more of a fishing area and since TVA has cut back on employees, they do not monitor it as much as they should. Shoes a must if you wish to swim as you may run into a fish hook or broken glass. The beach area is straight across the lake from there, but since Douglas Dam is between it and us, it is a 4 mile drive.
What makes this Cabin unique
For those who want a homey atmosphere, quiet, not partying and noisy, we are a great place to come "home to" after a busy day downtown with all it's attractions. We have a small fishing pond for our guests, well stocked, catch and release, and you bring your own gear. Also a bonfire area and volleyball and basketball.

Enjoyed the Little Cabin
At the end of our stay we had the opportunity to meet the staff. Very friendly and caring people. We took up the sites so were only there at night to sleep. The cabin was comfy and had the essentials of our needs. We did pack some additional items but only needed a few. Very clean! Could have been a little warmer but we packed extra blankets and left the electric fireplace going most nights. All around great place to stay.
The cabin was just enough, since we were out site seeing most of the time. It was clean and well kept.
We had a wonderful time. We will definitely stay here again.
Very great stay
This property is quite and very cute. Very friendly manager always making sure we are happy. Thank you for a wonderful getaway
Great get away
Everything we hoped for and more great home base to see the area
Enjoyed my stay here! The property was very clean and the cabin was so cute! The check-in process was very easy. I would say 10/10 overall.
