Beautiful country home

  • 5 of 5

My family and I were visiting our sister over the Thanksgiving holiday. We loved staying in this home, it was very peaceful and relaxing with plenty of space for 8 people. Our children had so much fun playing outdoors as well. The home is located within 10 minutes of the heart of Rhinebeck, but offered complete privacy for when we wanted to relax. Theresa is a wonderful host and available when needed. Linens and towels were plentiful. Love this house and hope to return some day.

Beautiful Home!

  • 4 of 5

There were three couples that stayed here for a long weekend. The house was beautifully decorated, very clean and roomy enough where everyone wasn't on top of each other. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was functional for preparing meals.

I would just like to make a couple suggestions:

An outdoor gas grill was listed as an amenity, so we brought some steaks to grill the first night we were there. The gas tank was not only empty, it was too old to be refilled.

The fireplace was also listed as an amenity, but we had to drive around town looking to buy firewood to build a fire at night. We did find some, so we were able to enjoy the beautiful room with a blazing fire on the 2nd and 3rd nights.

All in all though, we had a wonderful time, and thoroughly enjoyed the house. I would recommend the house to anyone looking to stay in Rhinebeck.

Lovely place in the country!

  • 4 of 5

We all had a fantastic time in this charming home. there was plenty of room and tons of hang out space. We would recommend this place as a great Home Away stay. Our only comment is to update the towels and add a few sharp kitchen knives as we like to cook. Everything else was well taken care of and we enjoyed our stay. It was'n far from Hyde Park, Poet's Walk, Bard College and the Walkaway. Perfect location!

I'd stay here again for sure! And I'd love to stay longer to enjoy the outdoor space -which included a fire pit, a swing, and comfy adirondack chairs!

Great Home in Great Location!

  • 5 of 5

I stayed at the house with my children and grandchildren to attend a nearby family reunion. Theresa was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The house exceeded our expectations in every way. The linens were clean and fresh with an ample supply of fresh towels. The kitchen and bar were stocked with more than enough house ware items. Nice little touches like the key holder by the front door and vintage telephone made this a very charming home. The location is very convenient to area attractions. My only regret is that I was not able to spend more time enjoying the house. I would not hesitate to stay again in the future.

Beautiful, comfortable home near Rhinebeck

  • 5 of 5

Eight members of our family came together from far-flung places to spend a week at this lovely house. It was nicely furnished, very comfortable, and boasted a well-stocked, functional kitchen. There was even a crib, which fit our needs beautifully. The many public spaces (a parlor, a family room with a bar area, and a sun room) made the home feel spacious, as did the deck, outdoor furniture, and large yard.

The property was quiet and peaceful, but was only a 10-minute’s drive to Rhinebeck, where we could shop, visit galleries, and have yummy meals in some of the town’s many restaurants. And nearby were nature preserves and historic sites to enjoy.

Theresa, the owner, was extremely responsive and answered every question delightfully and quickly. Checking in and out was a breeze. We’ve rented many homes and apartments, and this was the very easiest.

We all had a wonderful time and would happily return to this house.
