Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday cottage in Pequea - The Cottage

3 bedroom, 1 bathroom, flowing layout surrounded by nature

Pequea Cottage

Private woodland get-away adjacent to Tucquan Glen Nature Preserve. Listen to the water all around you and relax. Or hike the Susquehanna River hills – 40 miles of trails alone in the PPL Holtwood Environmental Preserve, or five miles to the public boat launch with a perfect eight mile lake for fishing, kayaking or water skiing.

Relax in this newly updated cottage, a cozy relaxing living room with all the comforts included; flat screen TV’s in both the living room and master bedroom. Stero with speakers outside too. Or on those cool evenings warm-up beside the coal stove. Fully equipped kitchen; side by side ref., dishwasher, microwave, blender, all the conveniences. Master bed room has beautiful views of the outdoors while relaxing in your queen size bed. The 2nd bedroom has a little twist to it with the full size bed elevated in a birds nest loft. WiFi – if you need to stay in touch or escape into a private office area with a great view to watch the birds. Modern bathroom and a full size washer and dryer.

“Living Outside” on the 1,200 square foot natural flagstone patio highlighted by your own spring feed pond. Enjoy a bonfire while sitting on Adirondack chairs and listening to the flowing stream. Or maybe you might enjoy relaxing on the hammock watching the bird feeders and hearing Tucquan Glen in the background. As someone cooks on the gas grill or enjoy a second dinning area.

Why Brian Ament chose Pennsylvania

I chose to purchase this property because of the location, then I created a masterpiece of a home, that fits into the surroundings.

What makes this cottage unique

The property intruded me let my imagination run wild. With its surreal surroundings, the sounds of water in the background all while being secluded in a woodland environment. This property is an extremely rare find!

Great private spot!

  • 5 of 5

We rented Brian's property for a surprise party for my wife's fiftieth birthday. My sons and their wives flew in and were waiting for us there when we arrived and we spent the weekend together. Brian's home is modern, clean and comfortable. The location is perfect for relaxing and chatting, the patio and fire pit were awesome for us. I would certainly use this property again.

Relaxing Getaway

  • 5 of 5

This quaint cottage is perfect for the quiet getaway. The unique decor is very welcoming. When you walk in you want to savor every crevice. The cottage is comfortable (great couch!) and very clean. The owner is kind and helpful. The surrounding area welcomes you to go for leisurely walks or more challenging hikes. If you choose to venture out the neighbors are friendly (we had the best walks). The market is not a far drive and fully stocked. Once you are settled in you automatically unwind. Such a sweet place to chill out!

Glen Allen

It is a perfect hideaway. Everything New. Thoughtfully & well kept landscaping.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I so enjoyed sitting outside for meals and relaxation. We enjoyed sitting by the fire we would make in the fire pit. Inside the cottage is a wonderful open feel. Great ambient lighting. Everywhere was very clean and anything we needed was there.

It was great with the washer and dryer to stay kept up with laundry too.

Brian gave us all the infirmation and when we had a couple questions he responded right away.

There was a challenge for us with the cell phone signal but we were able to work around that. And the bed wasn't overall very comfortable. But everything else was wonderful.

Better than we expected!

  • 5 of 5

What a little gem! There's so many great things to say about this cottage, I'm not sure where to begin. The outside is beautifully landscaped and perfect for relaxing, or hosting a small gathering as we did. Inside is an up to date, clean, and superbly decorated. Everything you could possibly need is here, right down to extra wii controllers for the kids😄򑀠5 stars from our family!

Beautiful house away from city

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed out stay at Brian's cottage! The place was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We were deciding between Brians house and a hotel and I am very happy we chose to stay here. It was away from the city, in the middle of the woods and gave our trip a nice vacation feel. Thank you Brian for the excellent accommodations.
