About the property

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Baths, Sleeps 4

This cozy, charming beach cabin is a perfect place to enjoy a laid-back beach vacation in Neskowin. With easy and safe beach access, amazing ocean views, and a dog-friendly property, you will enjoy every minute of your relaxing getaway!

Neskowin itself has few attractions in town other than the fabulous golf course, but you may not want to spend much time in town when you see that the beach is just 100 feet away from your vacation rental! Proposal Rock, the most famous landmark in the area, is directly across from the cottage, and the mysterious ghost forest is a short beach walk to the south. The home even includes a kayak, inflatable rafts, and boogie boards to help you make the most of your time at the beach!

The efficient floorplan of this two-bedroom, one-and-a-half bath home has just enough space for four guests and up to two dogs with an additional nightly fee. The main floor has a full kitchen with all major appliances, a nice dining room area, and a living room with plenty of seating for everyone. The living area has a spectacular view of the ocean, plus a TV with cable and a DVD player, board games, Internet access, and a wood-burning fireplace perfect for keeping the house warm and cozy.

A loft area upstairs is a great place for kids to play during the day, but is not for sleeping. Instead, this home's two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and the other with a full-size, plus a sofa bed in the living area, provide comfortable spaces for everyone to sleep while dreaming about an early-morning walk on the uncrowded beach. The deck has seating and a gas grill, so you will love sitting outside in the cool breeze, listening to the roar of the ocean and enjoying the priceless view.

Neskowin is nestled between larger coastal towns, and a quick 15-minute drive to Pacific City or a 20-minute drive to Lincoln City will allow access to many restaurants, shops, and attractions of the larger, more bustling cities. However, for a quiet and relaxing vacation to the beach, stay near home and enjoy the peace and quiet of sleepy Neskowin. You will not need to venture far away for adventure, since bald eagles and sea otters live nearby, and the adjacent beach and creek are amazing, safe places for both children and adults to spend time.

When the stress of everyday life becomes too much to handle, escape to this quiet, clean, peaceful beach cottage to unwind and recharge.

About Vacasa, OR - Oregon Coast Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

The house is absolutely amazing. The views are to die for, the home was clean and furnished well. The kitchen was fully stocked with full sets of dishes and pots and pans, which is very rare. There were tons of games and movies available, as well as beach chairs, towels, and other items. There was also a fan!!! I can't sleep without a fan was totally shocked to see one there!! It would have been nice to know there wasn't any wood for the fireplace, the tv didn't work upstairs in the loft, and a newer movie collection would be nice. I seriously don't have any complaints other than those couple if things, but it wouldn't stop me from visiting again!!

Very charming cabin!!

  • 5 of 5

We had an enjoyable stay here. Very relaxing. Loved kayaking in the water, beach combing, exploring, and experiencing a new beach we have never been to. Tge town is cute, a 1/2 mile away. The restaurant is FANTASTIC and the county store has a great wine selection, at very reasonable price.

We will definitely visit again!

Neskowin Heaven

  • 5 of 5

This is our first time booking a vacation rental and we are hooked! The process couldn't have been easier and the location was just what we were looking for - quiet, secluded and charming. I love that the pictures online were a true representation of the property, that's not always the case with hotel properties. This was a really cozy place to spend our spring break and it really felt like it was our personal vacation home that we were staying in, can't ask for more than that!

Proposal Rock Paradise

  • 4 of 5

We spent a week in February 2017 at Fisher's Roost. The view was amazing. Just sit and watch the waves come in and go out. We knew the weather would be ify but that was ok. There were very few people in the area, so we had the place to our selves. The cabin was very quaint. The views were great. There was a huge deck to spend time outside. The cabin had everything we needed to make it home. Even a hair dryer for me :) The cabin could use a good cleaning and some remodeling (like the bathroom). The best thing was the view, the worst was the bathroom (the claw foot tub with its hookey shower curtian surround needs to go). Beds are small but work. If you are allegic to animals dont stay here, there is dog hair on the furniture and it doesn't seem as the cleaning people clean the furniture. With some updating and TLC the cabin would be even more amazing, romantic, and homey place to stay at.

Perfect beach get away

  • 4 of 5

The view of the ocean from a cozy chair facing the sliding glass door was phenomenal. Cute little place to settle into and a walk on the private beach made our get away perfect. Some little upgrades and cleaning issues would get all 5 stars from me. We would love to go back.
