The beautifully appointed villa is built in traditional Mediterranean style having an expansive terrace from the living area with a barbecue, table and chairs and sun beds. There are large balconies from both bedrooms, one with views towards the 18th green of Andratx Golf Course. Clever use of materials gives the appearance of a much older Spanish home but with all the conveniences of the 21st century. The villa offers a luxurious interior which includes under floor heating, air conditioning, satellite television, DVD player and a superb kitchen with dish washer, washing machine, tumble drier, refrigerator, freezer, electric hob and oven. The kitchen is generously equipped. The villa is exquisitely furnished with modern, neutral shades that complement the rustic colours of the exterior.
This villa is first and foremost a family home with lovely pictures and has many personal effects.
This villa is not let out on a commercial basis. Most of the booked periods reflect the occupation by the owners or their family. Others may apply to use the property during any free period. The 'rent' is not a commercial figure but simply a contribution to overheads.
We rented this property during Easter 2010 and just loved it. It is about a 35 minute drive from Palma airport, is very easy to find and is situated in a very nice golf complex. We rented a car and it was a five minute drive to Paguera which has all the shops, restaurants and cafes one would need as well as a lovely beach. The property itself is very charming, very comfortable, extremely well equipped and has everything you need for a perfect holiday. It also has good and large outside terraces and gets the sun all day. We would highly recommend it and would certainly book it again if we return to Majorca.
We've just had a week at the villa and were delighted with both the property and the small community it's situated in. We think that it's actual position is one of the prime spots, with nice views and a fantastic terrace that has sun the whole day.
The garden areas are lovely and very well cared for. The gardener was busy every day tending the plants, sweeping the paths etc and it's obvious that there is a great deal of pride in keeping everything in tip top condition.
Whilst it was obvious there were people around because there were cars parked, it was quiet and peaceful and we were able to relax, which is just what we wanted and one of the reasons we like Camp de Mar so much. Anyone wanting a busy night life would probably be happier in one of the larger resorts though it is easy (and cheap) to get to Port Andratx by taxi and Peguera by either taxi or bus. Sue does recommend using the supermarket in Paguera and this is so easy as the bus stops virtually outside and the return stop is only about 50 yards away. It's a large supermarket with a good range of foods.
We didn't hire a car as everything in Camp de Mar is an easy walk, so unless you want to be out and about every day, it's not needed.

The Villa is situated on the Andraitx golf course, in a luxury, gated complex, in the village of Camp De Mar approximately 5 Km from Port Andraitx, a sailor's haven with it's fine restaurants and idyllic setting. For golfers the Andraitx golf course is renowned as one of the most challenging on the island, and there many other courses in close proximity including Son Vida and Santa Ponsa. Camp de Mar is a small, rocky inlet with a well serviced, sandy beach suitable for all ages. There are several beach bars and restaurants around the bay and one on a small island reached by a wooden walkway. From the beach there are boat trips to Palma and around the coast to the island of Dragonera and other villages such as the beautiful Saint Elm. In the village is the superb restaurant of La Tulipe, open all year, tennis courts and the 5 star Steigenberger Hotel with it's health club open to non residents. Around the coast and inland are numerous walks suitable for all walkers
