By listening to our past guests, we know that most of you are coming here to spend time with friends and loved one(s) so we have thoughtfully created spaces for enjoying time together - comfortable seating to share long nights, fully stocked kitchens for sharing meals, fire pits to gather around, games to entertain, and a long list of things to do in the area, so that you may explore the desert

All of our homes are located in the town of Joshua Tree just minutes away from Joshua Tree National Park and are professionally maintained on a regular basis. Our guests are guaranteed a personal, unique, and intimate experience. Most importantly, if there are any emergencies, we are just minutes away to help. Our reviews posted here are from previous guests, please feel free to read them and ask questions. Thank you for considering us.

Escape from the city life and experience the solitude, stars and endless blue skies with our desert vacation rentals. Just 120 miles from L.A. and 30 miles from Palm Springs, Joshua Tree is a short drive to an oasis of discovery. Its nearly perfect year-around weather and smog free air attract people from all over looking for a place to get a way from it all.

Joshua Tree National Park welcomes over a million visitors every year. The park offers rock climbing, hiking, sight seeing, biking, camping, bird watching, star gazing, and exploring. This amazing park looks simple at first glance but its surreal geologic features will have a lasting impression. Want something different? Within a few minutes are hot springs, horse back riding, gambling, outlet stores, tram rides, atv riding, and more.

Climbing:

Rock Climbing is a sport that people from all age groups can enjoy (we climb with our nieces and nephews ages 5 to 18) and I have heard countless stories from people that have used climbing to overcome addictions, build self confidence, get in shape and to be in touch with nature.

Hiking:

Hiking in the desert can make you feel worlds away from the city life. With the wide open space and prehistoric looking geography you can’t help but feel a sense of wonder for this amazing place. There are so many places to explore from old mining camps, historic homes built into the rocks, hidden oasis where Indians once settled, view points where you can see in every direction due to the smog free air and so much more.

Star Gazing:

Anyone who has been to the desert knows what we are all saying when we brag about our desert night skies. According to the BBC, 99% of the continental United States (and two thirds of the world's population) never see a truly dark, starry sky. The Mojave Desert is one of the last places left in the United States where you can still see the Milky Way with the naked eye. At all of our rentals, there is plenty of outdoor seating and lounging to take in the night. It is one of the most special things we can offer our guests during their stay- a piece of peace that they can take with them anywhere.

wonderful

We loved our stay in Joshua Tree. The house is a beautiful modern home in a great location: wonderful views and close to hiking. The host was great: well-organized, welcoming; she made everything easy. The coffee and tea was delicious; what a treat. We loved hiking in the desert. Here are the best hikes. From Black Rock Campground, hike the panorama loop trail. This fabulous hike has views almost the whole trip. It was our favorite. Also from Black Rock, hike up to Eureka Peak. Take the burnt hill trail back through a lovely desert valley. Boy Scout trail from south to north was also great; varied terrain including wonderland of rocks. Also, lost horse mine loop trail, and Ryan Mountain trail. The geology tour road drive is fun, too. We had perfect desert weather: cool and sunny. We hope to come back when it is warm enough to go in the beautiful modern pool!

lovely stay, well-equipped simple house, beautiful and convenient location

  • 5 of 5

Exactly what we needed, in a simple, comfortable, well-equipped house. Manager lives nearby and came over a few minutes after we called to say we couldn't figure out how to get the TV to play sound. (My elderly dad REALLY wanted to see the Steelers playoff game that day.) After that, not a single hitch in our 2-day stay. Beds comfortable, kitchen well-equipped, hot tub excellent even in the chilly rain. Although house is close to town, in a neighborhood with other houses nearby, it felt very private, with quiet desert views from house and pool area. Hope to return again.

Cool place, great views & location

  • 4 of 5

This place has a great vibe & is in good proximity to hiking & climbing in Joshua Tree.

The place is pretty cool though we found it a bit dusty. Otherwise a great place! Pool looked amazing! Unfortunately for us the temps were too cold to enjoy it.

We enjoyed this house, the views & location

Owner's Response: Thank you Mel, after we spoke and clarified the dust you mentioned, it does make sense that there would be particles of dust coming from the heater as you thought. We hadn't received any cold weather this year so the heater had hardly been used (if at all), so initially there is a little dust that blows through the air. I'm glad it didn't affect your stay and we look forward to seeing you again!

Love this place

  • 5 of 5

We have been staying here for the past 3 years for my husband's birthday in December. The house is perfect for our little family. The location of the house is close to the parks entrance, close to great restaurants and shops. Christa is a great host, easy to get a hold of and easy to book with. Most perfect salt water pool and jacuzzi for star gazing. We plan to continue this tradition for many years to come.
