Studio apartment with a beautiful view of the bay of Canyelles

Très bien situé pour profiter de la région, une vue superbe, un appartement fonctionnel et bien équipé, c'est un bon endroit de villégiature

Appartement sympa décoré ambiance mer.

Simplement le canapé lit à changer dans le salon.

Le stationnement est difficile dans le quartier ( crique de Canyelle ) parking payant mais non goudronné vers la supérette suma )

Le cadre vous fait oublier ces petits tracas afin de passer des vacances dépaysantes à 5 mn de la plage !

Prévoir masque de plongée pour admirer la beauté sous marine ( accessible à tous ).

Let's start with the positive side: the location is very close to a beautiful beach and bay. Just cross the street, walk down the first stairs, then go left (small amazing beach) or to the right (larger village beach). In 5 minutes you are enjoying the wonderfull bright water and lots of fish to see.

The view from the apartment is great. A large balcony, good sunscreen and tables & chairs.

Now some comments. The apartment is situated right at the street where all traffic passes. It's above it and we are used to live in a city, so it didn't bother us much. At night it was rather quiet.

What surprised us was that sheets and towels were not included. You can't see that on the website, it's just not mentioned. Conversation with the landlord was only possible in French, but fortunately the daughter was able to help us out and we appriciated that!

The landlord stated that this is made clear in the information. We think that if you rent a house the owner has to check options. But we as users can't see what boxes are not ticked. So beware on this point.

There were three things we disliked. First the airconditioning: rather old and noisy with a limited capacity. Apparently only meant for the bedroom which is a rather small room. If you leave the door open because of the small room cooling doesn't work well enough.

Second: the apartment was not well enough cleaned. Especially the cooker was greasy.

Third: there was a problem with ants in the building. We saw lots of ants at the entrance and stairs. The ants get into the apartment and even into the bed. We had to fight them every day, closing little new entrances they created. They were there from the point we entered the apartment. It had nothing to do with our food (veggies & fruits). We kept that in the fridge.

We succeeded just enough to fight the ants to have a good week on this beatiful spot after all. But something has to be improved on this point for sure.
