Fantastic!

  • 5 of 5

We vacationed at this home in August 2017. It is beautifully decorated, has comfortable beds, updated bathrooms and it is well stocked with anything you might need for your stay. The house comes complete with kayaks, paddle boards and more which we really enjoyed. It was about a 1 hour drive to Lake Placid, a 1 hour ferry ride which puts you right at the base of the Burlington, VT Marketplace and it is extremely close to Ausable Chasm which is a must-see.

Relaxing!

  • 4 of 5

My family had a wonderful relaxing time at Mooring Sunrise 🌅 great location, A LOT to do in the area if you chose to. Wonderful view of the lake! The house was clean and comfortable. I would suggest more chairs for outside both on the lower porch and down below at the waters edge. A coffee table would be nice in the greatroom. A few more of the metal luggage stands would be helpful as well. Thank you for sharing your home with us. T and L

Amazing place to experience Lake Champlain!

  • 5 of 5

Very nice house, beautiful views of the lake. Hot tub a major enjoyment spot. Very clean and modern. Great movie (DVD) collection (100+). 3 well-sized, comfortable bedrooms (need better pillows - lumpy). Spacious kitchen, well-appointed re: pots, pans, plates, utensils, coffee maker, blender, etc. Wish there had been a dishwasher; with 5 of us, we spent a good deal of time washing dishes. Great access to the lake, only a few steps away. Kayaks, 2 paddleboards, paddleboat, boat mooring, sturdy dock. Ability to bring our dog a big plus.

Adirondacks with the family

  • 4 of 5

Great location, views and water craft! Plenty to do for all. The house itself needs a few basics though. Needs end tables or coffe table for living room. Absolutely no place to put anything down. Master bedroom has no closet. So putting up lots of hooks or something is recommended. The other 2 bedrooms had no dressers, only closets. Kids had to live out of their bags. Lastly, kitchen needs a bit more silverware than 7 forks, knives etc. Also a few baking pans would be nice. Had to buy stuff for lasagna and to bake bread. Also had to buy new ice cube trays since the ones there were broken and ice wouldn't come out easily. Lastly, the chairs at the lake were broken or in disrepair. The house is set up to accommodate 4 easily. We had 6 and we're always short of chairs outside.

Owner's Response: Sorry to hear you found some Of the accommodations not suitable. We are constantly buying replacement things of all sorts for the kitchen they come up missing all the time, as renters we are used to it. Also thank you for the feedback about broken chairs lakeside we were not aware of that as we haven't been to the house in a few months. We are happy you took in all that really matters fun family memories and that beautiful view!

Cozy and Convenient

  • 5 of 5

My family of 5, along with our dog, had a wonderful time along the shore of Lake Champlain. The house is beautiful and flexible for whatever kind of group you arrive with--family with kids, old friends, etc. Great layout with all of the little things to help make an enjoyable stay. We and our kids spent hours on the lake and the availability of 2 paddle boards and 2 kayaks only enhanced our time. The hot tub speaks for itself!

Location is also significant here. Grocery Stores are not too far, there is easy access to the highway, water friendly options, hiking options and numerous sights. We did the Ausable Chasm, Whiteface Mountain, Lake Placid, Fort Ticonderoga, Burlington and we still had plenty of time each day to relax and jump in the lake. That was one of the biggest takeaways for us--whether you wanted to bum around the lake or go be adventurous, or both, this place is quite convenient.

Owners and all related correspondence were open and prompt. We definitely recommend this house.
