Our studio is located in the heart of downtown. It sleeps two in a king sized bed and comes with all the modern luxury desired when visiting Missoula. The studio has a kitchenette with supplies, television with premium cable including HBO and Netflix capabilities, and WIFI. The studio will feel like an elegant home away from home, and whether you decide to stay in and watch the river outside, or spend the day enjoying all Missoula has to offer, you'll love coming home to the condo.
I'm a graduate student in Missoula. I'm from Berkeley, California but am so happy to call Missoula home. I am an artist as well, and enjoy watercoloring and illustrating. I live in close by the Wilma and am currently trying to maintain a garden!
Byron McKoy purchased this condo in 2014
I've loved the Wilma since I first moved to Missoula six years ago. I like that the building is so unique. It has a real charm, and takes you away to the past (but has modern amenities!) I also love the location; downtown Missoula is hard to beat.
The Wilma theatre made me fall in love with the property. I love that I own a property that's not only grand and historic, but also has a movie theatre on the premises! One of my favorite activities in town is going to see a film in the theatre. You can sit in the balcony overlooking the whole, grand room, with a glass of wine and enjoy your film. It's truly a pleasant experience. And the best part is, after your film, concert, or whatever you've enjoyed in town is coming home to a wonderful apartment, right upstairs.
I love staying in the Wilma. The location is fantastic. Downtown Missoula just keeps getting better. The restaurants are great, the people are friendly. On Saturday morning is the farmers market which is just out elevator of Wilma in the parking lot is a wonderful market. The room is very nicely decorated and has everything you need. The view out window is onto the top of the roof next door so you are looking at the roof top mechanicals, so it's not a great view, but you still get plenty of sunlight and can see the river off to the side, but I suspect that is why this place isn't as much per night as some of the others in the Wilma. I will continue to try to stay here every year when I return.
The room looks out over a mechanical roof. Views beyond are good tho.
Great studio apartment. Appointed perfectly. Better than any hotel in Missoula by far. The bed was tremendous. The bathroom was glorious. The apartment was very quiet, restful and just what you want in a place to lay your head. The view from the apartment is not so hot, but they do make the best of it with curtains and blinds etc. I awoke and could see the glorious Montana sky. Cannot imitate that view anywhere. BIG SKY country is exactly that BIG. Will be back and will rent again if available.
No disparaging qualities but feel it as with the hotels are over priced. Sure it's supply and demand but they are all over priced for what you get. Would I rent here again, sure I would.
The Wilma is the perfect place to get the true Missoula downtown experience. Everything in the apartment was beautifully designed to make good use of a small space. The view is over a rooftop, but we enjoyed the sunsets every night. My only wish was for screens on the windows so we could keep them open and breathe the fresh, mountain air!
The location is excellent, near restaurants and river walk. The condo itself is very dark, including very dim lighting in the kitchen. There was a layer of dust on parts of the furniture. Overall we were disappointed with condo.
The Wilma building is a loved building and a hub for activities and action in downtown Missoula. In the building itself, you'll find an incredible restaurant, Scotty's Table, a day spa, and the historic Wilma Theatre, where every night boasts either an independent film, concert, or local event. Steps outside the building, you'll find Caras Park, the home of countless festivals throughout the summer such as Brewfest, Earth Day festival, and the weekly farmer's market. Downtown Missoula is packed with amazing shops, restaurants, and nightlife. We love the stationary shop downstairs- Noteworthy, the boutique Cloth and Crown, and our favorite place for a cocktail is on the same city block, Montgomery Distillery. Missoula is an ideal place to visit to get away, visit friends, explore the outdoors, visit the university, and more! We are located just a five minute drive from campus (a fifteen minute walk), and are a short drive to nearby hiking and mountain biking trails. The nearest ski resort, Snowbowl, is only a fifteen minute drive!
