Married with 2 kids. We enjoy traveling and different adventures. We love to meet knew people.
We remodeled this apartment with hopes that people passing through cedar will be able to enjoy this beautiful city while enjoying a comfortable night sleep
Having your bedroom windows overlook the historic Main Street.
We enjoyed staying in the suite; it's clean, spacious, well furnished, and the downtown location worked well. Walking distance to a number of restaurants and easy highway access for traveling to Zion, Cedar Breaks, etc. The owner provided very good directions to find the place and get in, and we took advantage of several helpful suggestions about nearby businesses and activities. The Main St. location results in some traffic noise in the evening; part of the "city vibe" I suppose, and not really a problem. Be advised that the 2nd floor location has a lot of stairs. There was plenty of convenient off-street parking. I would stay again, and recommend it.
We have rented here several times. A great location downtown with full kitchen and a comfy bed. Perfect local as always.
We had a wonderful stay in Cedar City. We were there to work on our ranch property and to look at real estate for retirement. The room we stayed in was perfect for our needs. We will definitely stay there again in the future.
For anyone looking to have a base of operations for attending the Shakespeare Festival this is a great choice. It's just a couple blocks to everything at the festival grounds and there are groceries right across the street. The facility let's you unwind from the festival. The kitchen is well stocked with the needed pots, pans, etc.
The only drawback is that there is some traffic noise from Main Street. But after 10:30 when you get back from evening performances this is minimal.
Couldn't be a better location. All the amenities. Super clean. Stylish. Can't say enough good things about the property. And Clay is very accommodating, terrific landlord to work with. Both thumbs way up. I came for the Utah Shakespeare Festival, which is two blocks from the apartment and a short walk to all sorts of dining and shopping.
2nd year staying here, and the property couldn't be better maintained for its guests. Kitchen is completely outfitted, and handy washer/dryer across the hall. Close to the Shakespeare and Neil Simon Festivals, as well as numerous eateries of all types in walking distance: upscale restaurants, cozy diners, ethnic food, and coffee houses. It does overlook Main St, so some music and other background sounds, but by 10 pm all is quiet, and the only thing coming through the open windows are the lullaby's of crickets, and the smell of the mountain air. Cleanliness 5/5. Location 5/5. Price-Value 5/5 ($30 per night less expensive than two different B&Bs we've tried.)
Cedar City is known as the Festival City. There are always activities going around town. They have a new aquatic center and a new ice skating rink for the winter. On top of Leigh hill right by the aquatic center there is a large lake where you can swim, fish, kayak or just play on the beach. There are tons of hiking and biking trails to keep you busy for weeks around the area.
