About C. Fletcher
I am an Irish woman living happily in Prague for many years, and now largely retired after 7 grueling but fascinating years working in HR in Moscow. Having visited most of Europe's capitals, I can honestly say that, in my opinion, Prague is the most delightful. This is True Bohemia. We lived very happily in the rental apartment for several years before moving to the other side of the river. My many satisfied guests say that the apartment shows that it has been lived in by the owner as it has the care for detail, often lacking.
C. Fletcher purchased this Apartment in 2005
Why C. Fletcher chose Malá Strana
This is a truly special place. It has warmth, character and comfort and a remarkable view of Prague's most outstanding landmarks - Charles Bridge
What makes this Apartment unique
This is a house built a few years after the birth of William Shakespeare and yet the apartment has all the modern comforts you could want.

Super apartment in perfect location with magical view. Apartment is larger than perhaps we were expecting and was immaculately presented with loads of helpful info and the bonus of some welcome goodies. We were made so welcome.
We had a very enjoyable stay in Prague.
The view from the back window of the river was spectacular.
The location was great.
Best location in Prague!
Our week long trip to Prague was fantastic! Our host, Clare helped make transportation arrangements to the apartment and back to the airport which we appreciated. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and a great place to recharge after a day of sight seeing. The view out the window towards the bridge was a highlight. In early June, the weather warmed up and finding cool spots to relax could be found a few minutes walk to Kampa Island. Lots of neat sights are around the corner, including the "smallest street in Prague" and the pissing statues. We found lots of great restaurants nearby and cute shops that sold artisan items. On our next trip back to Prague, we definitely would stay at this apartment again!
Property was very comfortable and in a great position
We had a great holiday in Prague and found the accommodation to be ideal for our needs. It was very clean, comfortable and homely with all of our needs met. Clare couldn’t have been more accommodating
This property should be in the top ten places to stay in Prague!
Location, location, location. This apartment is right at the end of the Charles Bridge leading into Old Town. We were steps from everything we wanted to do, yet it was a quiet little street with interesting shops and eateries that made it feel like a neighborhood.
I can't say enough about what a delight it was to stay in Clare's apartment. We were greeted by Clare upon arrival and given a full tour of the apartment which included a detailed summary of places to eat in the immediate area and approximate walking distance from the apartment. Clare once lived in this flat so she knows the area well and recommended great places she loved which were all first rate. Two wonderful bedrooms, a newly renovated bathroom, a very comfortable living room, a kitchen that had everything you needed to cook if you wanted to....we loved the sweet bakery and coffee shop next door so did not do any cooking, and a killer view of the Charles Bridge! Clare was kind to get us started our first morning with cream and orange juice so we didn't have to go right out shopping; a plate of chocolates and champagne were also there to welcome us. The only note I'd make that was mentioned in earlier reviews is you need to be able to climb steps. There isn't an elevator so if you have mobility issues this may be a challenge. The good news is that the steps are not steep and the climb is easy, plus Clare's husband helped us get our bags up to the apartment and then back down when we left. I'm not saying this will happen every time you rent this apartment, but these folks went out of their way to help make our stay the most wonderful part of our whole trip. We highly recommend this property! Thank you, Clare.
Clare was a perfect host, very detailed and helpful with excellent tips on how best to enjoy Prague. The apartment has one of the loveliest views I've ever experienced. The apartment is rather spacious...two bedrooms and two smallish living rooms, plus a modern and updated bathroom and kitchen. Bedrooms are angled because of the roof so a bit tight but the atmosphere and location is unequaled. Highly recommended.
My apartment is in Prague 1 - Mala Strana, the oldest quarter of Prague is located beneath the Castle. As can be seen on the location map here next to these details, this apartment truly is superbly centrally located in the heart of the Mala Strana, overlooking the river and the Charles Bridge (Karluv Most). Note the parks and green spaces in this part of the city. The steps onto Charles Bridge are just at the end of the street. Crossing the Bridge, you immediately enter the Old Town at the other side. Historic buildings, places of interest, delightful parks and the finest dining are right outside the door of the apartment house. Tram and metro are very nearby but you will so easily walk to all the major sites that you are unlikely to need them
