Superb cottage - great value for money

  • 5 of 5

We spent a lovely winter weekend at The Old Chapel.

The location is superb for walking (and for us, running), eating and drinking.

The cottage has everything you need including fast WIFI (essential for the teenagers in the party).

Considering the temperature outside was minus 4 at night the cottage was lovely and warm and very cosy.

We will definitely return.

Great place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

I spent 3 days at The Old Chapel and had a great time. A very well presented property in a peaceful location. The cottage is very well equipped and makes for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. Some lovely walks from the doorstep of the cottage, especially the Walk that follows the River Wharfe. The Buck Inn (a 2 minute walk from the cottage) is a great place to eat and drink! Probably the best pub food I've had in a very long time. I can thoroughly recommend a stay at The Old Chapel and would certainly return.

Beautiful Chapel in Glorious Countryside

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful chapel. Really well equipped and comfortable, in very lovely location. It has everything you need. Within easy distance of lots of places worth visiting. We went to Aysgarth Falls, Skipton, Fountains Abbey, Grassington, Malham Cove, all really well worth visiting. And for dinner skip the Buck Inn and go to The White Horse at Cray where the food and hospitality are superb.

old chapel, buckden

  • 5 of 5

have just spent a week at the old chapel in buckden. a lovely property. it was well furnished and the kitchen was stocked with every implement known to man. it had a delightful garden and was situated just off the road through the village. only 5 minutes from the local pub. it proved to be an ideal centre for exploring wharfedale . we would be happy to return in the future and can recommend it wholeheartedly.
