North Shore Oahu - Large 1 BR - Steps to Beach

Comfortable stay. We were a walk from beach had chairs and beach towels ready! We were close to Halewia shopping and great sidewalk to walk on every morning.

The north shore beaches are so close! Clean apartment had what we needed. Comfortable couch, bed. Safe environment. Enjoyed our stay.

The property was almost exactly as shown & described. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Having breakfast on the lanai was a wonderful way to start the day. The owner was very responsive and easy to work with.

The beach, a block away, has abundant opportunities to see large sea turtles. The apartment is located in a quieter part of the North Shore, but has easy access to all the points of interest. The town of Haleiwa is a short drive with lots of touristy shops, plenty of food truck fare & the best coffee shop on the island...the Coffee Gallery!

This condo is at a great location. The residents in the complex are very friendly and helpful. The rental was reasonably priced and it was great to have our own (included!) parking space, wi-fi, full kitchen and washer/dryer. We had to contact the owner once with a question and he was very quick to respond. We appreciated being out of the traffic and the busy city. Mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. Really a gorgeous area with a nice walking trail. It is within easy walking distance to the park and the beach, which was usually not crowded. Beach chairs are provided. It is a short drive (10 minutes) to Haleiwa for restaurants, food trucks, activities and shops. There are many beach parks and activities to explore nearby. Shopping for essentials is close (20-30 minute drive to Foodland, Walmart, Sam's Club, etc.). Take your own beach towels and toiletries, and if you're staying more than one week you might want some extra TP/facial tissues, hand soap and laundry supplies. If you'll be doing most of your cooking at the condo, also take a couple of extra garbage bags, small dish detergent, handi-wipes and some food storage containers. All of the linens (sheets/towels/washcloths) and kitchen items (pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc) are supplied. We visited at the end of December into the first week of January. The windows and doorwall created a nice breeze through the unit. We did not have to use the a/c, though we were told this is a cold winter for them. So your mileage may vary. ;-) You'll hear some activity during the day (yard maintenance, garbage trucks) and it's a residential area so you'll also hear some street noise, chatter from other units and barking dogs. Otherwise, it's pretty quiet. The lanai is a nice spot to enjoy your coffee in the morning (which you should also bring with you! but the coffee maker is provided).

Exactly as described, a wonderfully maintained condo with everything you need for your stay. Mark, the owner, was great to work with. It is just steps from the beach and it is a short drive or take the bike path to Haleiwa. The North Shore beaches are within easy driving distance. The condo grounds are well maintained. Quiet, friendly atmosphere with good neighbors. I had a wonderful stay but next time I might bring my fishing gear as the locals were telling me about the great fishing from the beach.
