Arrived with my wife and daughter in September for our 19th consecutive yearly visit to Venice. This, thanks to a beautifully equipped apartment and a great location was one of my most memorable stays. I look forward to a return next year and I am certain that my family is also anxious for at least one more stay. The ONLY disappointment, no available TV.
Very disappointing! Air conditoining was only in main bedroom, and it was a portable AC so we had to leave the window open for it to work so we had to hear the street noises all night long. The rest of the apartment were very hot. So we had to run a fan in the kitchen, and that fan happened to be totally disgusting. I had to walk ta a little store to buy a screwdriver, open up the fan and clean up the grime, grease, hair in the shower. It had not been washed in 2-3 years minimum. 1 good hour of my vacation time spent there. 1 comment I had read before the trip about the gas stove revealed to be true too. It could not be lit automatically with the buttons. I tried a couple of times with matches, to no avail, so I gave up, and we ended up eating cold food for 3 days (excellent in Italy, of course, but you need to know... in case you like pasta...). All in all, the pictures are better than the real thing.
Maria was a great host, when we arrived at the boat stop she came to pick us up and walked us to the apartment.
When we arrived at the apartment Maria explained everything we needed to know and gave us some good tips where we could go. The apartment was very clean and convenient, with great beds a washing machine and enough kitchenware to cook a nice meal.
The apartment was also in an ideal location nearby the San Marco square and close to all the interesting sights.
If we had any questions for Maria, we could just text her and get an immediate response.
If you are going to Venice I definitely recommend this apartment.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
There is practically no difference from the pictures, even better!
Place is quiet, clean, comfortable, roomy and check-in/out time are flexible.
the house is not hard to find, but Maria came to meet us at the vaporetto Stop.
Thanks for welcoming us and we hope to see you Maria, and Venice again!
