This pristine LAKE VIEW home was built high on the hills of Stewart County overlooking Standing Rock Bay on Kentucky Lake. No lake access from our home, but we are 5 minutes from Paris Landing State Park and Paris Landing Marina.

Paris Landing State Park offers a roped off swim area, an Olympic size pool with lifeguards, an 18 hole golf course, tennis courts, basketball counts, fishing pier and lots of picnic areas.

This location is a hunter and fisherman's paradise. It's beautiful and serene surroundings make for the perfect vacation refuge. Wildlife is abundant, whether it be deer and turkey running through the yard or pelicans and eagles soaring high above the home.

Kentucky Lake is the largest man-made lake East of the Mississippi River. Entertaining your guests is not difficult at this location. Whether you're a water baby or a land rover...there's plenty to do! Rent a pontoon boat, SeaDoo or kayaks/canoes and tour the lake. You can also hike 3 trails at Paris Landing State Park...five minutes from our home or hike numerous trails at Land Between the Lakes Federal Park twenty minutes from our home.

If you are a golfer, you have come to the right place! Paris Landing State Park also offers an 18 hole course for those golfers who are out to have fun!

No matter what the occasion, this home is the perfect refuge for an Executive retreat, a couples vacation, a hunters/fisherman's paradise or a family gathering place.

Entertaining outside is a joy with the triple tier down decks, grill/bar area and covered porches. No need to worry about parking because you have a 40'x50' parking pad to accommodate all of your guests, 5 car maximum.

This custom built, energy efficient home was built using 8'x12' D logs with dovetail corners and Centurion Stone. Upon entering the solid mahogany front door you will see beautiful Malaysian Kempas hardwood floors in Exotic Ginger and Italian porcelain tile in Jade Ocre. The earthy look of the knock down walls on the main floor make you feel like you are outdoors. Enjoy panoramic views of the lake from every room in the home and every deck.

The kitchen has a 10' bar with 4 bar stools, Uba Tuba granite counters, Venetian bronze fixtures and stainless steel appliances which add to the warmth of this custom home.

The Main Floor of this three level home offers 2 Master Suites with open Great Room/Kitchen/Dining area. The Upper level offers 1 King Suite that shares a bath with a Queen bedroom.

The full basement has a King bedroom with hall bath and den area.

About Jeanne Faith-Garton

Jeff and I found this property Harley riding in 2002. In 2005, after looking at every lake in Tennessee, we decided Kentucky Lake was the place for us. We bought our lot and started building our dream home; we completed the build in Dec. 2006.

We built this home for our children, grandchildren and mothers. Over the last 8 years we've enjoyed our families and created a lot of memories here.

We were married here, both of our mothers spent their last days with us here, and our children/grandchildren have grown up here enjoying the lake. There is a tremendous amount of love and tradition in this home.

With the kids growing up and the loss of our mothers, Jeff and I have decided to start a new chapter in our lives. As a result, we hope to share our beautiful home with others who will appreciate and cherish it as much as we do. We hope you'll form your own traditions here as well.

We love the outdoors...we spend the majority of everyday outside.

For years we have known we wanted to retire on the water, and we knew we wanted to experience the seasons.

Neither of us are from Tennessee originally; but we fell in love with the seasons and the people here.

What makes this lodge unique

Whether we are drinking coffee on the porch at sunrise, watching the eagles soar over the house, looking at the panoramic views of the lake...the mist on the lake and in the hills in the early morning, watching the sunrise over Fat Daddy's Marina and the moon sparkle on the water at night...it is all so peaceful and serene.

Life doesn't get much better than this..what's not to love??

Fabulous getaway weekend!

We were four couples visiting Tennessee from Indianapolis. Our "excuse" for going was the solar eclipse. In reality, we wanted to share five days among friends. The house was perfect for us. Lots of space to spread out, very clean, very updated. Beautiful decks to enjoy the outside views. Jeanne was so helpful giving us good ideas on how to spend our days! We fit as many of her ideas as we could into our days. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a great getaway weekend. Thanks again, Jeanne, for your hospitality!!

I hope that we can plan a future getaway at this same location!!!

The owner was amazing to deal with. Super friendly, always responded to my question in a very timely manner. The place was gorgeous, very well kept. Just a short drive distance from a grocery store or a marina. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. We loved our stay. Look forward to going back.

Beautiful home, wonderful view, out door seating, and floor layout was amazing!!

The outdoor entertainment area was supberb!!! The house was also very well stocked. I can't think of one thing that wasn't there! Very cozy! The only downfall was having to leave the property to access water and the well water did have a funny odor. We ran out of water on the last night and couldn't take showers in the morning. This could've been our fault for doing dishes and laundry at the same time. We were cleaning the house and that wasn't expected of us.

For future guests, our write up states that we are lake view only. These guests were very gracious and tried to help us with the cleaning before they left, we believe this is why they ran out of water. The water smell only occurs when the well has run dry and dissipates when the well is replenished. As long as you follow our water rules you should not have any water problems.

Had a wonderful trip!

The property has a great view of the lake but it's not lakefront. The layout of the home was perfect for our family reunion. It's got enough space for a larger family on the upstairs floor and basement and for couples it has two spacious rooms on the main level. Seating matches the ten people it holds. It's a beautiful home.

A home where you feel like family!

Our family celebrated our Dad's 94th birthday in this beautiful home. The furnishings (both inside and out) are exquisite and so inviting. Porches span three sides of the house, allowing lots of opportunities to take in the breathtaking views. Jeanne adds that personal touch and is readily available for any questions that might arise. Definitely a great experience...would love to go back!
