Lovely family owned apartment with air con. Situated on the extremely well- kept Ses Anfores complex, Son Parc. The apartment has a large double bedroom,with lots of wardrobe space, with ceiling fan. In lounge it also has a bed-settee and an additional pull out bed for a fifth member if needed, table with 4 chairs & breakfast bar with stools, also has sky television plus a DVD player. The kitchen has a washing machine, microwave, & large fridge freezer, ironing board & iron.The apartment is extremely well-equipped as it our second home with many extras not normally found in your average holiday let.There are stunning hill side views of Monte Toro and the sea from the very large balcony which also has a built in barbecue. The apartment also has an air con unit. You have the use of two shared swimming pools, children's pool and tennis court in the well kept grounds, just a five minute walk from the beautiful sweeping bay of Son Parc, which is ideal for small children.

Many thanks for the rental of your well equipped apartment. Son Parc is just as we think Spain should be but very rarely is. The maps & guides in apartment were very helpful. The small beaches on the south coast were picture perfect.

Apartment Son Parc - Average

The beach and sea at Son Parc are lovely. The sea is shallow a long way out and ideal for children.

There is not a lot in Son Parc, but it is good for a family holiday. I would say that there is only one decent supermarket, the one opposite the golf club.

The apartment surrounds and pool area are well kept, not that we tried the pool.

There are few photos of the apartment on the site, possibly because the apartment is, in our view, not great, although it is well stocked with utensils that are helpful for the holiday.

The air conditioning is a floor standing unit. Like all air conditioning that I'm aware of it vents hot air out the back and we struggled with this as it was venting hot air into another part of the apartment. Also the unit is too noisy to allow sleep, in our opinion.

The bedroom is quite small and we had some hot weather, well it was July, but we had to make up the bed in the living room. I believe an adult gives off about 1KW of energy and we found it too hot for both of us in the bedroom.

I would caution against going to this apartment in July or August, as it may be too hot, especially if more than just a couple staying.

Owner's Response: Have never had a complaint before, have people going back year after year. You must have a big bedroom as it is bigger than the one i have here ! Can't believe you never used the 2 pools, they are what most people love. There are 4 supermarkets in Son Parc all selling freshly cooked baguettes & most of anything else you need.No mention of the big patio where we spend most of our time, not in the apartment, i am sorry it didn't come up to your standard, perhaps you should spend double next time as mine is half the price of most.

Great location for beach lovers!

The listing description was spot on.The property was clean throughout,however the opened left over food in the cupboards and the large amount of half used suncream ,medication and personal items was an oversight of the management company.It really did need a sun awning outside on the terrace as the umbrella just wasn't enough to stop the living area getting so hot in the day.(even with the shutters closed).That aside.The pools were great and clean.The lovely gardens were well maintained.This is a great choice for family with one child.I would recommend this apartment to friends.

Owner's Response: As I have clients in within next day, tell management to leave any usable food, as most clients are glad of these if arrive in middle of night or a time when shops are shut .No perishable items are left. Why throw away sun cream, insect repellent, mosquito cream etc when can come in useful for others. Most letters I have say how handy it was to be able to use until they can buy some. So difficult now as can only take 100 ml in case.

Lovely location, well equipped apartment

We had a great holiday at your apartment. Its is very well equipped, and in a lovely quiet location. The apartment was big enough for the 4 of us especially as we spent most of our time by the pool or on the beach. The sofa bed is comfy as is the double bed and pull out bed which our 6 year old slept on.

Apartment Son Parc

Just wanted to say thanks for a great holiday, the apartment had everything we needed for the baby (4 months) which really helped us relax during our stay. The location was great, beautiful beach views and we pretty much had the pool area to ourselves (again great for the baby). We hired a car at very reasonable rates via Pauline and found Son parc was a great base lunching in Fornells or taking a day trip to the south etc. First time in Menorca but will definitely be back.

the apartment was clean,had everything you wanted,4 ring hob,microwave,oven,washer.the area was quiet,brilliant for young families.pool was clean and well maintained;3 pools altogether 1 baby pool and 2 pools which you could swim,not too deep though about 7' deep end.

Situated on the north coast of the island, Son Parc is just 20 minutes leisurely drive from the airport.A 5 minute stroll from apartment to the beautiful beach with shallow water backed by dunes and pinewoods. A short walk across headlands will take you to other beaches. Close to Menorca's only golf course, with driving range where visitors are welcome. Supermarkets, bars, restaurants/ take aways & entertainment for children & adults a few minutes walk away. There is a daily bus service into Mahon, local taxis, although a car is not necessary we would recommend hiring one for at least some of your stay to explore some of the islands many beautiful beaches & sights.
