Perfect

  • 5 of 5

Met and exceeded all expectations. Very clean as well as the most amazing views. We stayed with our 1 yr and 3 yr old children and they loved all of the green space and spending time at the beach near by.

Completely Awestruck!!!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I arrived at Philomena's cottage after dark. When we woke up in the morning and looked outside we were completely awestruck! Words can't even begin to describe the beautiful view from the cottage. The big cliff in the background is where Luke Skywalker lived in the last Star Wars movie. We had big plans to take some day trips but we liked the area so much we stayed close by. We spent one day just hiking around the cottage and up the road. The town of Dingle is about 25 minutes away and has some good restaurants and shopping. The cottage itself is wonderful - bright with plenty of windows to enjoy the scenery. Philomena is the perfect host! We can't wait to go back!

Wonderfully relaxing stay about 20 minutes from Dingle

  • 5 of 5

This cottage is fantastic, close to the water. You can hear the waves crashing on the rocks from the home, it is very picturesque. It is spacious, the two bedrooms were the same size with queen size beds. A bathroom shared upstairs and another bathroom with a jetted tub downstairs. Kitchen has all the necessary cooking tools and pans. The picture window in the living room was so wonderful to look out while enjoying a glass of wine. Philomena was a delightful host, I recommend this cottage to anyone thinking of driving the Wild Atlantic! Travel tip- rent the smallest possible compact car, we are American and had some difficulty navigating the small roads along the coast. I also recommend the highest level of car insurance possible.

The Most Amazing Place In The Entire World!

  • 5 of 5

I was in need of disconnecting from the "tick-tock", frenetic working world and reconnecting with the universe. If an ideal spot had been created on our planet to reconnect with all that is important in life, this was the home. Philomena and Alec provided me with more than just a place to rest my weary head. They provided me with a home. The ocean is at the foot of the property and nature is on full display 24/7. There is no need to even think twice about turning on the TV throughout your entire stay. Why would you want to? i cannot express how grateful I am to Philomena and Alec for all that they did to make my retreat one of the best experiences of my entire life. I will return. This truly is where heaven and earth create a beautiful and breathtaking visual collision. You will leave only wanting to return.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL HOME

  • 5 of 5

We were not disappointed with our choice for our holiday. The cottage was immaculate, all high end appliances and all the equipment needed. The view is spectacular. The location is perfect for walkers, hikers, reading a book by the sea, star gazing. We enjoyed several restaurants: Murphys in Ballyferriter, Anchors Away and Global Village in Dingle Town. The very best was our dining room table looking out at the sea. You will definitely make the right choice if you spend your holiday in this lovely cottage.

5 Star cottage in a 5 Star Location

  • 5 of 5

What a wonderful cottage with a view that is hard to beat anywhere. We had a great time here and Philomena and her family made us feel so welcome it was hard to go home. The cottage itself is 5 star - modern, clean and warm. You might even get chance to herd the sheep like we did - not something we have experienced before and a great memory - thanks for trusting us to help. We hope to visit again soon and can't recommend it enough.
