Adele is a great hostess. Helpful enthusiastic and informative. The cottage was charming and close to Calistoga. We had appointments at the Culinary Institute so it was convenient. The kitchen was adequate, the living space was nice. I think it would be a little cozy for more than 4 people.
We really enjoyed our stay in Calistoga. Location of the cottage was great to just walk to dinner and a few of the winery's. It was a little difficult with only 1 bathroom but we knew that going in. Sometimes you sacrifice continence for location. Cute cottage! We spent one evening around the little fire pit sipping on some wine. Very enjoyable. Owner was very nice and good communication.
I would have preferred more common space to share time with my friends
The cottage is very nice. Everything you need on a vacation. My wife loved the claw foot tub. Adele was very easy, and fun, to work with. Would definitely stay there again.
We recently spent a weekend at the cottage while attending a wedding in Napa. Our hosts were most pleasant and welcoming. The house is well situated being steps to downtown and a variety of nice restaurants and shops. It worked well for sharing with another couple although the kitchen is off one of the bedrooms which requires a little planning. The only drawback was a strong somewhat unpleasant odour (sort of musty) that persisted even though the windows were open. We reported to the hosts who said they were not aware of it. I imagine they will have dealt with it as a result of the report. We would stay at the cottage again if visiting Calistoga.
