The house is centrally located to take advantage of all that Sandpoint has to offer including Lake Pend d'Oreille, City Beach Park, The Festival at Sandpoint, Lost in the 50's, Schweitzer Mountain. Park your car and enjoy the town - you'll be within walking or biking of distance from downtown and there are bikes included with the rental.

Great Location and Perfect For Families with Kids

We were only in Sandpoint for three days but this house made everything easy to get to. We walked everywhere or took the bikes that were included out. The kids enjoyed the toys and the garden in the backyard. My daughter even enjoyed a few apples from the trees in the front, which made this house a nice touch. The owners were extremely quick to respond to any inquires. We wish we had the time to use the kayak but we already were short on time to do everything. When it cooled down at night we used the fire pit to roast marshmallows to make smores, which the kids loved. We were only a few blocks from all the great local restaurants and shops and not a far driving time to Schweitzer Mountain. We spent a lot of time at the beach and it only took us 15 minutes to get there by foot and we drove one day and it was only a few minutes to get there. I would recommend to anyone looking to stay downtown but in a house that feels cozy and eclectic.

Centrally-located home base

This house is really conveniently located for getting around Sandpoint. Cedar Street is one of the main streets in town so there is a lot of traffic going by (not a big deal but you should know!). We really appreciated the art supplies and toys for our kiddo, and the owner's tips of places to eat and drink were really helpful (don't miss Evans Brothers Coffee!). The owners were really great to work with and they even let me know that we left a pair of my daughter's shoes behind… and shipped them back to us at no charge!

Great for Families!

We loved the house. Easy to find, close to downtown and the beach. The beds were comfortable and the bunks is were perfect for our kids. We even hosted some visiting family for coffee one evening. Lots of room. Our son wanted to go back to the house to play with the toys in the room rather than spend another day at the beach. We definitely stay there on our next trip to Sandpoint.

We absolutely loved the house and location!! The property was beautifully maintained and the house was spotless. Close and convenient to everything we needed. Including the lake. We will definitely be back.
