Large (80 m2/900 sq.ft) apartment with spacious Living and dining room (40 m2) , located on the 7th floor, with elevator. One wall is equipped with a great bookcase, the other one with four wide windows.
TV - telephone - Internet are at your disposal. Decorated with a mix of modern and ancient style, the general feeling is peaceful and sunny.
A real kitchen contains all what you need : washing and drying machine, oven and micro-wave, coffee machine, toaster, iron etc...
A large bedroom gives on a quiet courtyard with green high trees. It has a queensize bed, and opens on a large bathroom with a window where you can admire the Eiffel Tower sparkling in the night.
The other bedroom is smaller but nevertheless with a double bed.
The building is occupated by high social level families, and a house keeper will help you in any case.
At the foot of the building, you will find all proximity commerces, as well as an open market twice a week. Many restaurants and coffe bars are on the way.
The Passy area with well-known shopping is 10 minutes walk, as well as the Trocadero and Eiffel Tower. You can also cross the Seine River and profit of the new famous shopping center of Beaugrenelle, with shops, restaurants and cinemas, and a theater.
You have a direct access with the RER-C to Orly, Latin quarter (St Germain and St Michel, the Invalides).
The Opera can be reached by bus (n°52 and 22) in 25 minutes.
If you are interested in tennis championship, Roland Garros is 10 minutes far by bus(n° 52)
At last, if you want to take a walk around 'the Bois de Boulogne', you can reach it in 15 minutes by bus or even with 'Velib'.
In the last 15 years, I have stayed in many areas of Paris, but this location is the best! You are a few minutes walk from the metro, a major bus route and a taxi stand. From these you can easily reach all the major tourist areas in 15-20 minutes or less. Yet you are in a peaceful, residential neighborhood, removed from the crowds and noise of central Paris. Returning here at the end of a busy day is relaxing. If you like, you can live like a local, purchasing supplies for meals at the boulangerie, charcuterie, fromagerie, etc., the local grocery store, or the twice weekly street market, all of which are also only a few minutes walk from the apartment. If you prefer to dine out, you can choose from one of the many local restaurants or easily return to popular areas like St Germain des Pres or the Marais for dinner. If, like me, you do not speak French, don't worry. Despite the fact that you are in a residential neighborhood, everyone seems accustomed to dealing with tourists and most businesses have at least some English-speaking staff. The locals are patient and there is always someone willing to help you out if needed. In fact, my favorite interactions came when I tried to communicate using the few poorly pronounced French phrases that I know.
The apartment itself is a delight. It is indeed very spacious, especially by Parisian standards, and sunny and has all the modern conveniences including a very reliable internet connection. The bedroom overlooks a quiet courtyard, ensuring you a very peaceful night's sleep.
However, the best part of this apartment is the owner. She responds promptly to questions and does all she can to ensure that your stay is a comfortable one. When she learned that I was unexpectedly going to be on my own for a week, she went way out of her way to see that I would be, and feel, safe. Among other kindnesses, she made sure I knew where to find a pharmacie that was open during my August visit, just in case I needed one, and introduced me to her English-speaking neighbors in case I needed help. Staying here, you will feel like you are in the apartment of a friend who just happens to be out of town.
The living/dining room is large and sunny. A big table sits six comfortably. Large couches and a coffee table make for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. There is a large master bedroom and a small second bedroom. A half bath in the hallway is great for visitors; the large bathroom adjoins the master bedroom.
Great location, very nice owner, pleasant neighbors. A nice quiet neighborhood but an easy.
subway ride to any place in the city. Open air markets twice a weeks within a five minute walk. Great shopping within a 10 minute walk. Very easy check in and check out. A great place to stay.
This is a beautiful apartment - cosy, spacious, sunny, in an upscale building. You can see a large part of the Eiffel Tour from the master bedroom window. Just come to your window at every hour from 7pm to 1am and you're up for a special treat!
Nicely decorated. You can feel the owner's care and personality, unlike some rentals that just feel like rentals. This one is the opposite, you feel right at home. A very well equipped kitchen. Whatever you need, from simple to 4 star cooking and serving, is there!
Gorgeous large bathroom; elegant master bedroom. The second bedroom is small and has no window, but has a nice queen bed and is just as cosy!
A second toilette with the second sink is very convenient.
This is a quiet residential area, away from crazy tourist areas, yet 15-20 min walk to Tour Effel; 1 min walk from the Seine; 10 min walk from Passy (shopping street), etc. Metro and bus are all convenient. We even walked to Louvre many times (40-50 min amazing walk along the Seine all the way)
The owner was very accommodating, had everything arranged, called us personally to make sure everything was good. Easy check-in and check-out.
An attractive area, with the Seine view, going to the Eiffel Tower and the Trocadero in 15 minutes walk.
Many and various possibilities of doing shopping at Passy streets, the new shopping center Beaugrenelle.
Going to the Opera Garnier is very easy with the bus N° 22 and 52, or going to the Chatelet and the Louvre, with the bus N° 72 in 25 minutes.
