Casa Amaranta is situated in a prime front line position on Nuevo Portil golf course. It overlooks the 14th fairway and has superb views. The spacious property is furnished to a high standard and includes all modern conveniences, fully fitted kitchen with cooker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine. The house is situated over 3 floors and has 1 double and two twin bedrooms and is fully air conditioned. 2 Private underground parking spaces. The property has two terraces and a private garden perfect for enjoying the long sunny days. The Golf Hotel and clubhouse and the Cartaya hotel and spa are just minutes away. The location is suitable for families, golfers or those seeking a relaxing break in the sun. The stunning sandy beaches are just a 10 minute stroll away. Restaurants, cafes and supermarkets are within close proximity

Golf Information: We offer Casa Ameranta for shorter lets but have to add in the cost of cleaning etc.

Unlike the western Algarve and the Costa del Sol, Costa de la Luz, the province of Huelva remains relatively undiscovered. Green fees are lower, and the courses less crowded and less busy, making it much easier to obtain a start time that you want. NUEVO PORTIL: The course offers 18 golf holes par 71 in its 5841 metres lay out. Small slopes and some dog legs make it perfect to walk & very entertaining. Excellent facilities- training field close to hole 1, large putting green & chipping green. Golf club rental, private or group lessons, manual or electric trolleys. Plus all the services of a high quality four star hotel. EL ROMPIDO: 5 minutes by car. 36 holes on 2 courses, South Par 72 over 6148 metres & North Par72 over 6095 metres, surrounded by the natural marsh of Las Marismas del Rompido & some fantastic views of the Atlantic. Local Information: Nuevo Portil is central between the city of Seville and Faro airport in Portugal. The Blue Flag beaches are particularly stunning on this stretch of coast and there are many quality restaurants along the beach front with spectacular views. El Portil is a 10 minute walk away and there are many supermarkets, shops, cafes and restaurants. Nearby there is a waterpark ( ) and also a carting track ( )

The region has over 300 days of sunshine per year. The vast beaches guarantee that you will be able to find a quiet spot to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. If you prefer you can take a picnic lunch to the dunes. There are showers available on most of the beaches and lifeguards in the busier areas.

General Information: There are excellent bars, restaurants and cafes within a short distance. Not surprisingly, there are some particularly good fish restaurants all serving the freshest fish at reasonable prices. The town of Ayamonte on the border of Portugal is worth a visit, with winding streets and a great selection of shops. bars restaurants and marina. Try the menu del dia for a good lunch at good value.

The nearest airports to the area are Faro, 60 minutes and Seville, 75 minutes away by car. Airlines such as Jet2, Easyjet and Monarch all offer regular low budget flights.

Why Nigel Feerick chose Nuevo Portil

We had been holidaying throughout Europe for many years and decided the time was right to purchase our own property. We like both Spain and Portugal but felt that this part of Spain was unspoilt and didn’t have the large developments found in other parts of Spain. The beaches are fantastic and even at the height of summer you never feel crowded. I play golf and the fact we have a fantastic course on our doorstep is an added bonus.

What makes this house unique

Our house is in the prime position and has the benefit of looking over both the pool and the 14th Fairway. You can spend many an hour relaxing by the pool or if you want privacy, resting and reading the Garden patio has all you would ever need.

The bars and restaurants are all within walking distance and all your typical Spanish giving you the real experience of Spain rather than the cosmetic one you may get in the other Costa’s.

If like what you have read and you want a the most fantastic beach and within easy reach great , bars, restaurants and golf and the friendly culture of the Spanish, this is the house for you.

Like most communities in this area the pool is open 15th May - 30th Sept 11.00am - 3pm and 5pm - 9pm and has a full time lifeguard. One of the swimming pools is suitable for young children, toddlers and babies. There are Paddle tennis courts and we have a pair of paddle raquets for the guest use. Cots and high chairs are available on request. Smoking is permitted outside only. We include meet and greet if required. The property benefits from Satellite TV with English channels and there is a large selection of DVD movies, books, games and music CD's.

Nuevo Portil - Excellent

The European Badminton Seniors - Veterans- Championships were held in Punta Umbria in late sept 2008- approx 8km from Nuevo Portil Golf Club. The Irish Team booked six houses via the web in Nuevo Portil and they were all excellent. The location was perfect and the drive from the Golf Club to the Champiosnhips was just breathtaking. The unspoilt beautiful beach was perfect for our morning training sessions and the local restaurants/ bars provided good quality food at reasonable price each evening. Of course we could have cooked for ourselves in the very well equiped kitchens..but hey, we were on tour.. Our Team was make up of players ranging in ages from 40 to 70+ and the resort was just brilliant. We had six players staying in each house. The houses were really well maintained and spotless. We flew into Faro airport and drove to the resort. It only took about 90mins. The pictures on the web do not do justice to the houses or the general area, which is just fabulous.As for recommendation...well we are going back again this year for the World Championships! Need I say any more!!

Excellent for a family holiday!

The house and pool are ideal for a young family.The house was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The pool is clean, well maintained and has a life guard.The beach is only ten minutes or so by foot but we chose to drive most days as we had all the beach gear with us.

The owners representative met us when we arrived to show us around and give us the keys. They were also very helpful when we had any queries. All in all I would highly recommend this property.

Great Location - Excellent rates

Stayed here in August 2009 with my family of 4. Lovely house - plenty of room - great base for the area. The local beaches are great, but the wider beaches, about 5-10 minutes in the car, further along the coast are much better with loads of space and bars every so often.

The house is furnished to an excellent standard with plenty of facilities included.

The pool is right outside the front door - Very nice pool, shame it is not open all day long!

Nice easy drive from Faro airport.

Recommended to all.

Outstanding & highly recommended

My family and I stayed at this wonderful house for a New Year break and we cannot praise it enough. The whole house is spacious and furnished to very high standard, with little touches such as DVDs and satellite TV for the kids a welcome touch.

The nearby beaches are lovely and clean and ideal for families, hopefully we'll be back to enjoy this and the pool in the summer months.

The complex is both welcoming and very safe for children and I even managed to improve my golf swing on the fantastic course - although I didn't do too well 'putting out' on the 14th green with the family watching from the sun terrace!

Would definately come again to this fab location and house.

Tolle Ferienunterkunft für Vor- und Nachsaison

Wir hatte diese Unterkunft zu dritt, da dienstlich 2 Wochen in Huelva tätig angemietet. Die Unterkunft geht über 3 Etagen, hat 3 Schlafzimmer, 2 Bäder, Wohnzimmer, 3 Terassen, 2 Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage etc. Es ist alles vorhanden was man halt so braucht. Nach hinten raus liegt der Golfplatz und bis auf die dort laufenden Golfer ist es sehr ruhig und schön. Die Anlage ist als solche sehr eng bebaut, die Sommermonate sind wohl eher etwas unruhiger. Der Strand liegt in etwa 500 m Fußweg Entfernung.

Die Unterkunft ist uneingeschränkt weiterzuempfehlen.

Mit dem Vermieter ist problemlos die Kommunikation auf Englisch möglich. Der Vermieter hat auch eine englischspachige Betreuung vor Ort. Es ist und wird alles perfekt organisiert.

Car: necessary

Nuevo Portil is 200 mts from the 120km stretch of virgin beaches. The area features a host of nature as it is set in acres of Pine woodland and is next to Doñana National Park which is Europe's largest bird sanctuary.

Although Nuevo Portil is renowned for it's stunning scenery and peaceful ambiance there are excellent highway's giving easy access to nearby Huelva (18km) and Seville (91km) for those looking for more hustle and bustle. Sevilla airport is just 110km away but with the Portuguese border being only 30 minutes, Faro airport is the preferred airport for this destination at only 85km away and offering many discounted fares.

Other Activities: Karting for adults and children , Water Park (open July - August)

Golf: A magnificent parkland golf course characterised by wide fairways and fast, smooth greens. With gentle slopes and dog legs the course provides a challenge for all standards of golfer.

Splendid views of the Huelva coastline are available from many of the tees and fairways, with the extensive sand dune beaches , sea and a forest of pine and junipers providing a fantastic backdrop to your golf game.

A superb club house complements this well-established course and boasts facilities such as a full spa for your after-game pampering and relaxation, swimming pool, club-cleaning service and well-appointed changing rooms. Driving range, pitch and putt green, pro shop, restaurant, cafe.

The 18 hole course has three par 5s, four par 3s and eleven par 4s. It is a good walking course with some undulation and a few dog leg holes. Great views of never-ending sand dunes, beaches, ocean, and pine trees.
