Photos and Description of this 3 bedroom holiday home in Historic Old Town - River Beach House On The Water

3 Bedrooms, 2 Bath On The Water, Within Walking Distance To Theater, Main Street

Rare to have a waterfront property just a couple minute stroll from all the shops in Niagara-on-the-Lake! This home has simple architectural appeal, but maximizes its waterfront location by wall to wall windows, breath taking views and vintage sheik décor. This spectacular view is a uniquely yours for your stay, so come and enjoy River Beach House, once you arrive you'll know what I am talking about! Pictures just don't do it justice!!

At Riverbeach House the view is breathless. You can relax on one of the 2 patios and watch the sail boats, birds and the sunset with glass of wine and good conversation with the rest of your house guest! What a picturesque spot, you will not want to leave!

If you are up for some fun you can challenge your follow house guest to a game of ping pong and still enjoy the beautiful view!

Riverbeach House has a fully stock kitchen with everything you will need from making a fancy dinner to just a snack! 2 bedrooms upstairs there is a Queen Bedroom with your own private patio doors to the patio and full views of the water, the second bedroom has a set of twins.

Plus in the living room there is a sofa bed. Don't worry if you are the one to get the sofa bed as you have breath taking views from the floor to ceiling windows, plus the fireplace and the television!!

Down stairs there is a private suite with a queen size bed with your own entrance to the water, fireplace and television. Plus you have your own small kitchen and eating area, plus a bathroom with stand up shower.

Words do not say how out standing and beautiful Riverbeach House is from its views to how it is decorated and been remodel inside.

About Janet Trogdon

I have lived in and around Niagara-on-the-Lake for many years. I adore this town and all that it has to offer. When I purchased River Beach House it was my first time to be able to live on the water and walk to town and really feel like I live in historic old town. I have traveled the world, but home is Niagara-on-the-Lake. I so enjoy sharing my vacation home with you! I hope you will take time to write a comment and let me know about you and what you did while you were here!

Why Janet Trogdon chose Niagara-on-the-Lake

There are only 5 houses in town that are also waterfront. When this house went up for sale it had been sadly neglected. I have taken 3 years to repair, restore and rejuvenate this home. Once you arrive, I hope you will understand why this home is so important to save and share with our guests!

What makes this house unique

Ground level master bedroom with private walk out to water front. Has kitchenette, gas fireplace and sitting area with flat screen TV.

Upper level has a deck that runs full length of the house, one bedroom has walk out to deck and office space if you have to bring work with you. Or better yet get inspired to write a poem or story about your stay!

Walking distance to shops, theatre, groceries and coffee shops!

Parking for two cars. BBQ/Grill. Ping Pong Table. WiFi.

our new favorite home away in NOTL

  • 5 of 5

The house's location was fabulous to watch the evening flotilla of sail boats come back in to the NOTL marina, and to watch the young folks receiving sailing lessons each day (including how handle an overturned sailboat) and even to watch the US coast guard patrol the waters. We appreciated the well appointed cookware and kitchen gear and cooked on the grill and in the kitchen. FYI we did purchase a set of cork coasters for the house to accommodate glassware on the tables. The weather was so great our week there we turned off the AC and let the river/lake breezes cool us down and let us sleep to the river's sounds...until we were awakened by the ducks and geese serenading us in the early am as they took up their place on the river. Great house, great location and great property management when we had a few questions about the house.

Exceptional View!

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at River Beach House. The unobstructed view was fabulous overlooking Old Fort Niagara on the U.S shore at the mouth of the Niagara River. The open concept of the kitchen/living area was very comfortable allowing our group of six to socialize without barriers. The kitchen amenities were exceptional which prompted us to cook Saturday & Sunday brunch. The outdoor seating was more then ample and much time was spent enjoying coffee and cocktails on the deck. The town of Niagara-on-the-Lake is well preserved, quaint, very friendly and beautifully landscaping. We took an historic walking tour, visited several wineries, rode bicycles along the bike path that followed the shoreline of the river and savored the local cuisine. Would I return? Most definitely!

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for taking the time to write a review! I always tell our guests not to plan to much for the stay here. While there is so much to do and see around town, once you get into River Beach House, plans go to the way side and its all about relaxing and spending time together!
