Wonderful 17th century 450 sqm house, just finished to be restored in 2013, with outdoor terraces and 3 hectares of land and olive trees, in a unique environment and landscape, near Sticciano a few kilometers from Certaldo and Tavernelle Val di Pesa.
In less than half an hour by car you can reach Siena and Florence, an hour's drive you can reach the beautiful sea of the Tyrrhenian coast of Tuscany.
The property is surrounded by olive trees and woods, in an environment rich in medieval history. In Certaldo, the birthplace of Boccaccio, you will find all the useful services for the life of every day, from banks to pharmacies, supermarkets and delicious restaurants, wine bars and entertainment venues.
A few minutes away is the practice station with trains to Siena and Empoli.
The outer walls with stone walls, exposed beams, vaulted ceilings, first floor with original Impruneta terracotta flooring offer guests a touch typical of the Tuscan countryside.
In the night the floors are fine parquet and create a warm and comfortable ambient.
The interiors are bright and spacious, the result of a recent renovation of the property which has preserved all historical feature and introduced all the modern comforts. The decor is traditional Tuscan style, simple, but functional.
The access to the rooms on the ground floor an entrance hall, to the left there is a large dining room and a kitchen in a modern style and well equipped (6 burner stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and microwave) opening onto a large terrace sunny. To the right of the entrance, leads to a large living room with fireplace and 42' TV HD , next to which is displaced a second living room/conservatory with 46' TV HD (where you exit in the garden), bathroom with shower, a laundry room with washing machine and storage.
At the entrance, through the wide stairs leads to the first floor , where there is a small study with a desk, from which there are three distinct ports.
On the right, there are the two spacious double bedrooms, with a separate entrance from the outside and a bathroom with shower. From the main door leads to two further double bedrooms, equipped with a bathroom with whirlpool tub and separate shower, while on the left there is a double bedroom with bathroom with shower. Upon request, on the ground floor, a single room can be set up additional.
In each room there is the radio FM/AM wireless system with built in speakers and independent thermostat useful during winter time.
The outside terraces are equipped with every comfort for outdoor living and to enjoy the beautiful views of the Tuscan countryside.
Only 2 km far from Fonteviva you can find several typical Tuscan trattoria for eating all the most famous Tuscan courses and best Chianti wines around.
