A comfortable stay in a beautiful valley

The appartment was very comfortable and clean, though it was smaller than we expected. That said, it was everything we needed for a restful stay in a beautiful part of Alsace.

Fabulous stay

Lovely gîte , well equipped and maintained. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The gîte is located in the small village of Sewen. You can walk to lake Sewen from the back of the garden, which is gorgeous. Lots of walking / hiking to be done nearby, or sightseeing. We also spotted a beaver in the river at the bottom of the property which was special. Thank you for a lovely, relaxing stay.

Perfect romantic hideaway

Lovely gîte in a picturesque, peaceful wooded setting. You could spend a week just doing the well-marked walks in the local valley with splendid views (the route past the lake up to the reservoir was a favourite) and the cycle path on the disused railway line is safe and easy. There's plenty of interest locally and the main tourist attractions of Alsace are within easy reach. The gîte is comfortable, has everything you need and the owners are friendly and helpful. Très beau gîte dans un cadre boisé, pittoresque et paisible. On pourrait passer une semaine entière à faire les promenades bien balisées dans la vallée locale avec ses belvédères splendides (la route en passant par le lac jusqu'au barrage est à ne pas manquer) et on peut utiliser le piste cyclable accessible sur l'ancienne voie de chemin de fer en toute sécurité. Il y a plein de choses à visiter dans les environs et les sites touristiques plus connus de la région ne sont pas loin. Le gîte est confortable, a tout ce qu'il faut et les propriétaires sont accueillants et gentils.
