This premium 686 sq ft condo is located in the historic and elegantly restored Bab's building. The charismatic Babs, built in 1905, will take you to the soul of the Missoula community in a heartbeat. Centrally located on Missoula's vibrant Hip Strip, the Babs is surrounded by the city's best restaurants and bakeries. Everything is just a walk away. The condo has been thoughtfully designed for a historic 'Queen Ann feel' and is ideal for out of town visitors looking to explore Missoula and the surrounding area. High ceilings and large bay windows bring lots of natural light to the space. Updated bathroom, appliances and other amenities are complimented by the refinished, shining oak floors reminding visitors of the old times. The master bedroom comes with a private full bathroom and king-sized mattress and solid wood bed frame. The entire bedroom set, with nightstands and a dresser, are brand new. The living room with a gigantic couch is made for relaxation. Search the web using high speed wireless internet or watch a movie on the HD flat screen TV. Read a book or just kick back and enjoy the views. The kitchen is top notch, compact and gourmet with a gas Viking range and oven. The dishwasher is hidden within a cabinet, as well and the refrigerator. A compact washer and dryer are also tucked within the hall closet area. There is plenty of organized storage closets for hanging clothes both in the bedroom and in the hallway of the condo.

About Jenni Rohrbach

Missoula, as for many people, is a special place to us. It is where we met as students in college and where we always knew we wanted to call home. After school, however, life and work took us to Asia, Finland and New York City, before we could both settle back in Missoula together and start our family. Now with our daughter Maija, we are pleased to share all that the Missoula community has to offer with visitors at our Bab’s condo.

Why Jenni Rohrbach chose Missoula

Jenni first came to Missoula as an exchange student attending grad school from Finland. She immediately fell in love with the surrounding landscape and community but most of all Kurt. Kurt’s family is from the area and always knew the Montana lifestyle was the only one for him. They both enjoy the outdoor and cultural opportunities Missoula has to offer including skiing up Pattee Canyon, taking their daughter Maija to Missoula’s award winning Children’s Theater or enjoying Missoula’s restaurants, breweries and distilleries. They feel fortunate to call Missoula home and are pleased to share their love of the area with each of their guests.

What makes this apartment unique

The Babs is one of Missoula’s premiere historic buildings. Located near several of Missoula’s gems including downtown, the Kim Williams trail and the University, visitors can easily walk or bike to restaurants, shopping, bars, and hiking trails. Not to mention the best ice cream (The Big Dipper), pastries (Le Petite) and beer (Kettle House) are just around the corner. In addition, the condo itself is fully stocked with the comforts of home including a full-kitchen, children’s amenities (pack n’ play, high chair, books and toys as well as eating utensils) and king-size temperpedic bed. The Babs also offers a rec room with pool table and a garden area with a Viking grill available for guest use.

We loved Babs!

A three night stay in mid August at Babs was great! The place is completely modernized with high end finishes throughout and our unit (#9) was perfect for us. Everything is like new and the roomy living room accommodated our adult daughter who unexpectedly joined us for the trip. The bedroom included an air conditioner, but the solid construction of the building prevented it from getting very hot inside despite temps in the 90s. So much better than a hotel room! For the same price, we had a kitchen, dining area, and a great location near the Clark Fork River (about a block away) near a wonderful Farmer's Market that provided fresh food, and lots of local coffee shops and restaurants. We plan to revisit when we next return to Missoula. Thanks Jenni, it was great!

Perfect Home in the Heart of the Hip District

This apartment was the perfect place to stay in Missoula! Mountain views from ever angle and a cute, historic, spacious. comfortable and hip apartment in the middle of everything! We loved "Living Like A Local" and look no further for your place to stay. The apartment is cute, clean, modern and comfortable, The bed is big and so cozy after a long day hiking, biking and shopping. We loved the local record shop across the street, and a great spot downtown called Plonk. Everything is just steps away from your front door including the river! Look no further. This is the spot to be. We will be back. The owners are the best!

Everything you need!

We stayed here for Memorial Day weekend 2016 as a base for fishing the greater Missoula area. I was with my two sons 11 and 8 years old. The location was fantastic with all types of dining options within walking distance and close proximity to the freeway. Bridge Pizza was a favorite-(call in the order to avoid the long lines). It was a very comfortable size for a 1 bedroom and it had a great pull-out sofa. Would easily fit a family of four. Added bonus, the basement of the building was a big recreation space with a pool table, tv and bar area. The boys loved watching a movie while playing pool with their dad. Parking was no problem and the area was quiet at night.

Owner was responsive and made the rental process quick and easy. The place was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Nice sheets and towels as well. Can't think of any issues and would definitely stay here again in the future.

May in Montana

We Had been fishing on the Big Horn River and then stayed a few days at Chico Hot Springs before we arrived in Missoula with friends. The bonus in Missoula was our younger son who lives there. We had stayed at the Babs in October and were lucky enough to get another condo belonging to Jenni and her husband. We were once again pleased with the accommodations and delighted to be close to downtown and our friends. As long as our son is in Missoula (or even when he isn't) , we hope to stay at the Babs!!

Great Condo!

This condo is wonderful and Jenni was really amazing. Everything is exactly as pictured and the location is great for walking to the local bars and restaurants. You can walk as far across the bridge as you'd like or pop just around the corner for dinner. The condo is conveniently located a short trek from the downtown, various markets, and the school campus. We had a really great time and I cannot say enough nice things about Jenni. She was prompt in her communication, flexible, and really accommodating! Missoula was both relaxing and fun and we would definitely want to stay at the condo if we were to visit again.

-The condo has large storage closets, which have plenty of room for clothing luggage etc. Inside the closets, there are additional supplies for renters to use.
