About Tony Medici

We are a family of four living and working in Williston Vermont. This camp was always our dream to own. We love spending as much free time here as we can.

Tony Medici purchased this cottage in 2013

Why Tony Medici chose Lake Champlain Valley

This property is relaxing, quiet and quaint. The open floor plan gives it plenty of room to stretch. Big decks to enjoy the outside. A long dock to enjoy the water, and some of the best fishing I have ever experienced.

What makes this cottage unique

Great fishing. Nestled between Montreal and Burlington Vermont gives many options within one hour. Explore the 'Islands' from South Hero to Alburg or visit one of the many State Parks.

Awesome Lakefront Getaway !!!

  • 5 of 5

Wow ! Where to start...I guess with this lakefront cabin overall. It was in great condition, so comfortable inside, and you need nothing but what you want to eat . On to the location of this place. Breathtaking and peaceful, from sitting on a deck just feet from the Lake and watching amazing sunsets, to sitting on a dock sipping morning coffee to the most relaxing serene sunrises.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed this TRULY lakefront property so much we haven't stopped talking about the week we spent there since returning home....

There's not enough characters to type about the place and the time spent "Camp Highgate".

You have a gem there and we hope to return.

Perfect lakeside location

  • 3 of 5

Great location with a perfect view.

The cottage was really spacious & had plenty of facilities - tv, WiFi, coffee machine, board games, cards..... the list goes on. Outside we had BBQ, fire pits, kayaks, canoe..... again the list goes on!

Litreally minutes from the Canadian border & an hour to Burlington & Ben & Jerry's, plenty of places near by to visit & see.

Wonderful camp and stay!

  • 4 of 5

Rustic on the outside and airy, light and fully equipped on the inside (even sharp knives!). We had a great vacation and would have liked to stay longer. Highly recommend.

Things to improve? A sheet with more info, i.e. Don't leave the porch light on with the windows open as the bug can get thru the screens, there are lounging chairs under the bunks (found them as I checked under the bed as I was picking up), the broom is tucked in next to the fridge. Oh, and a potato masher would be great!

Peaceful Serenity with full accommodations

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was perfect for our family of 5! It was spacious, updated and cozy. It really was a home away from home. The kitchen was well equipped, including condiments, spices and pantry items. The bathroom was generously stocked with different personal care supplies including sunblock and bug spray!

My kids loved looking for "treasures" on the beach; sea glass and seashells were abundant. They also enjoyed fishing, kayaking, using boogie boards, and foam noodles(that were provided)on the beach. For the times we weren't on the beach there were plenty of toys and board games.

The breeze kept the cabin cool but there was also AC available in the bedroom.

There was a television service, roku, dvd and wifi available.

We loved using the BBQ grill and picnic table. There were 2 decks to chose from by the lake. There weren't many bugs and the birds were quite enjoyable.

We really felt right at home, as if we were borrowing a friends' cabin. This was the perfect vacation place for our young family, a chance to go to the beach without the hassle of bringing everything but the kitchen sink.

I highly recommend that you "help yourself" to an unforgettable vacation with your family/friends. We plan to book again! It was a dream come true! Thanks SO much Tony.

Lakeshore Camp on Lake Champlain

  • 3 of 5

The location was beautiful. There was plenty of outdoor furniture to use on the two decks and beach. Loved that kayaks and a canoe where available to use, and that the owner provided life vests for us. Having the kayaks was one of the reasons we chose this cabin. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, including plenty of coffee, and a market was only a 10 minute drive into Swanton. There was cable tv and games for rainy days. The reason the cabin gets three stars - The air conditioners were not installed, but luckily our visit was cool enough we could do without. The beds were not made up when we got there, so we had to do that ourselves. The cabin needed a good cleaning. There were spider webs and dead bugs all over the windows, which we cleaned ourselves. The throw rugs needed to be taken outside and shook and the floor needed to be swept.
