The Red Cedar Cabin is located on six acres of the Beautiful Pine Valley Resort. The resort is located on the Upper East Bay of Little Saint Germain Lake and has over 400 ft. of beautiful shoreline. The well manicured beach includes a swim raft and lounge chairs on the sun-deck. Boat slips are provided for your boat along with a 12 ft. aluminum row boat. The resort also has a fish house, a fire pit, horseshoe pit, volleyball court, swings and a recreation room including ping pong, air hockey and foosball. This cozy cabin has been totally remodeled with knotty pine walls and comfy modern furnishings. A wood burning stove offers a nice option during the cooler months. There is a beautiful three season porch and a small deck off the master bedroom overlooking the water.
Wildlife is abundant with deer and eagles spotted daily. Little St. Germain Lake is located in Vilas County, Wisconsin. This lake is 980 acres in size, and is 53 ft. deep at its deepest point. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Musky, Walleye, Northern Pike, Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass, and Bluegill.
There are many local activities for family and friends to experience. In the summer time fishing, boating, water skiing, tubing, biking, golf, go-carting, shopping, sight seeing or just relaxing and enjoying the beautiful views. Winter provides snowmobilers some of the finest trails you will find anywhere. Northern Wisconsin certainly is an outdoorsmans paradise.
Great dining spots to suit your tastes are also within a couple minutes drive. You won't miss on this one. You will love the cabin and enjoy all that St. Germain and the surrounding communities have to offer.
My wife and I have enjoyed vacationing in St. Germain with our children for years. We finally decided to make it more permanent and purchased a small comfortable cabin. We are glad to share it with you. I'm sure you will discover the many of the things that make this area so wonderful.
Michael Mandzen purchased this cabin in 2014
While the weather did not cooperate with us (rained every day) the cabin and the area were amazing. Chantal was a great help while we were there as well. Best of all, working with the owner Michael was great!! The scenery and seclusion were amazing as well. The cabin was extremely clean and very comfortable! The enclosed deck/patio was the best with amazing views of the lake. We will definitely be going back!
I have been going to St. Germain for over 30 years and absolutely loved this cabin. We rented this cute cabin in Pine Valley for our family trip this year and were lucky to spend 2 weeks on Little St. Germain. The cabin was perfect. Clean, comfortable with gorgeous views. The owners are easy to work with and so helpful with any questions. I can't wait to go back.
This was our second year staying at this cabin, and we loved it just as much the second time around. We were a group of 2 moms and 3 young adults, and had plenty of room. The futons in the living room are actually very comfortable for sleeping. We saw bald eagles, a pileated woodpecker, hummingbirds, and a blue heron from the front porch, where we spent much of our time. Also many deer around, including the playground area. The cabin is also located near many beautiful smaller lakes with hiking trails, etc. The fishing from the dock was excellent: perch, bass and lots of panfish action. Only 2 cabins were occupied after the 4th of July weekend, so very peaceful with the common beach/boating space completely to ourselves much of the time. Michael the owner is prompt in communicating, and Chantal on site can answer any questions and is very helpful. We would love to come back again!
The cabin we rented for the week was very nice. Even with cabins next door, you don't hear or see other guests (not sure if that was just luck) so it does feel very private. Great cabin experience with the family!
My daughter and I shared the cabin with another mother/daughter part of the week, and then were at the cabin by ourselves a few nights. It was perfect: close to St. Germain, other lakes and state parks, and located on a beautiful part of Little St. Germain Lake where we saw lots of deer, eagles, and 3 otters. We also had hummingbirds and a little black minx that we thought was a ferret. The weather was both warm and sunny a few days, and cold/rainy part of the week, but there was plenty to do regardless of weather. The docks are great to fish off (lots of panfish action), and we also took out the canoe and the paddleboats. We didn't swim there, although the little beach and swim area are great. The cabin has everything you need to cook and the layout is spacious if you have multiple people. We loved the bar area for games or sitting around, but the front porch overlooking the water is the absolute best part of the cabin. The property has 8 cabins, but only 4-5 were in use because they are privately owned, and the other residents were extremely quiet. Chantal and Matt the caretakers keep the entire area in perfect shape and were always around to answer questions or help out (Matt carried the canoe down to the water for us). We love the St. Germain area and definitely want to come back to this cabin next year!
My family of five (three boys 6, 8, 10) had a wonderful stay. The cabin was newly remodeled and very clean. The owner and manager were extremely easy to work with. The boys had a great time on the beach, paddle boating, canoeing and fishing. We brought our boat and docked it steps away from the cabin. The lake was big enough to wake board and surf. We tried several local restaurants..Wolf Pack Cafe, Whitetail and Spang's...Great food. It was a perfect family vacation. We will be back!
