Location, location, location. The Village has had a full renovation outside and we finished a full renovation on the inside (completed March 2014) one bedroom, one bathroom condo in the Village at Breckenridge is just steps from Peak 9 skiing, the Breckenridge ski school and less than one block to the vibrant Main Street of downtown Breckenridge. How convenient is our location?

- 20 steps to the Peak 9 lift pass ticket office and the beginner ski hill

- 50 steps to Peak 9 Chair

- Ski Rental located on first floor (3 others less than 50 steps away)

- 20 steps to the Maggie restaurant and apres ski lounge

-20 steps to the Breckenridge Ski school

- 100 steps to the nearest restaurant (which also offers convenient order-in service delivered to your door during peak ski season)

- 150 steps to Main Street shops and restaurants

Beautifully decorated with a contemporary nod to Breckenridge's mining history. Sleek tile floors, a beautifully redone kitchen with a fantastic granite bar area, new stainless steel applianaces and a clean contemporary feel. No expenses were spared in upgrading this unit, from the top of the line cherry cabinets to sound proofing insulation added to the ceilings and common wall in the bedroom. A comfortable king size log bed, a pull down queen size gel mattress murphy bed and new foam queen mattress in the pull out sofa provide comfortable sleeping space for six. The open kitchen, dining, living room are highlighted by a lighted coffered ceiling and a sleek wood burning fireplace. Cable on flat panel tv's in the living room and bedroom and free internet are there when you are ready to wind down from a day of skiing or hiking. Effective in 2017 housekeeping is using sheeted duvet covers so that the king size bed in the master has a duvet cover change with every guest.

Check in with ease at the 24 hour Village front desk, ask for help at the conceirge desk, let the valet park your car (effective 2/1/17 $30 a night during ski season, $25 a night during the Summer) and the bell service take your luggage up or self park in the heated parking garage for $30 a night (effective 2/1/17) in the winter and $25 a night during the summer (paid to the home owners association after check out). An overnight City lot is also available 4 blocks away for $15 a night year round or one off the shuttle bus line for $5 a night (North lot). A business center is in the lobby for your computer/printing needs.

Don't miss the health club with an indoor/outdoor pool, multiple outdoor hot tubs that look on Peak 9, fitness center, sauna and steam room.

You are just steps to several sports shops to rent your ski/snowboard equipment. Let the kids take their lessons right outside the door on Peak 9. There is winter childcare available at the Village and a Children's museum. If medical attention is needed during ski season, the medical center is conveniently located adjacent to the lobby of our building. During the summer (and winter) there is also a 24/7 emergency hospital about 10 miles north of Breckenridge in Frisco. Visit the pub or the italian restaurant just outside the lobby door.

Just one block walk to the south end of Main street where you will find 7 plus blocks of historic buildings full of shops and restaurants. Free town shuttles will help you get around town and Summitt County shuttles will take you to other area towns, outlet shops and other ski areas. Come up from the airport or Denver on a shuttle or park or valet your car and don't use it again until you leave!

Unfortunately our HOA does not allow pets from non-owner occupants. After one warning they will charge a $500 a day penalty for having pets on the property. If we can help you find accomodation for your pets please let us know as there are kennels in the area. If you have pet allergies please note that we can not guarantee the unit to be free of pet danders that may cause allergy issues.

We are also non-smoking in the interior of our building.

About Wendy and Bryan

We are two Colorado natives that loved to bring our young family to Breckenridge on the weekends to ski, bike and hike. Mom loves the shopping to stretch her legs after a day of outdoor activities and we all have our favorite shops and restaurants on Main street. Now that the kids are grown it's great to come up just the two of us or bring our boys and their girlfriends! We rarely miss the summer art festivals and try to watch July 4th fireworks every year. If you don't ski you can sled or cross country skiing. In the summer don't miss bringing up your jeep to go offroading. This is a place we can enjoy all year long.

We love rolling out of bed and being on the lift in a matter of minutes. We can come in for lunch and easily warm up for a break here or there during the day. No car is required to enjoy the mountain or the main street.

What makes this condo unique

For our remodel we focused on clean lines, unique overhead lighting and high end finishes such as granite countertops and hardwood doors and trim. We wanted to create a living space that complemented the mountain ambiance without the heavy pine and rustic finishes typical of many remodels over the past 10 years.

While the upgrades make our unit a very comfortable place to relax, the location all but ensures you will be spending much of your time outside taking advantage of all Breckenridge has to offer. As long time owners in Breck, we are confident no other residence offers the same convenience to the chairlift and downtown shops and local restaurants. We hope you have a great time during your stay.

CHECK IN TIME IS 4PM, CHECK OUT TIME IS 11AM Cleaning fees do not include housekeeping during your stay only the clean upon your departure. A starter supply of kitchen/bath supplies is in the condo upon arrival (toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, trash bags, shampoo, conditioner and hand soaps, dishwashing products etc). For longer stays you will need to provide additional amounts of the above during your stay. There is no daily cleaning service and additional towels or sheets or requested kitchen supplies (in addition to those orignally provided upon arrival) may incur a fee from the front desk. Please let the front desk know upon arrival if you are short of towels, sheets or other starter supplies. Firewood available free by calling front desk. You can deposit your trash during your stay in a trash chute found on each floor and recycle bins in the garage. Fireplace coals and logs must not be put in the trash chute or plastic trashcan. Only in metal can or call front desk.

The location of this condo was amazing. Our kids ski school, ski rental, places to eat and the Quicksilver lift were literally right outside the door. The condo was very clean and updated. I was worried that our family of 5 (2 parents and 3 kids) would be cramped but it was spacious for a one bedroom. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Breckenridge is one of the most visited ski resorts in the Western Hemisphere with 187 runs, 35 lifts, 4 terrain parks and 2 half pipes all in 2908 acres covering 5 peaks. But it’s not just a winter wonderland! Breckenridge also has plenty to offer all year long, with a wide range of summer and fall activities as well, reasonable prices and a low-key vibe, all set in the picturesque Colorado Rockies.

Breckenridge was originally founded as a mining town during the mid-19th century gold rush and boasts 200 structures on the National Register of Historic Places. Breckenridge sits along the Blue River, just above where it feeds into Dillon Reservoir (great for water sports in the summer), and below the towering 14,000-foot (4,300-meter) peaks of the Ten-Mile Range, so panoramic views are visible from pretty much anywhere in town. Within the town are dozens of shops, a wide variety of restaurants and an art district that has the expected high-end galleries along with places that teach classes and have hands-on, take-it-with-you workshops.Many of the shops and restaurants feature local products, including beer from the Breckenridge Brewery and bourbon from the Breckenridge Distillery, which offers daily tours. Hiking and biking trails crisscross the mountains. The Blue River is a great place to fish and the waters below Dillon Dam are some of the best in the state for trout and kokanee salmon during their annual run. The lake is great for sailing or riding in pontoon boats, and there are numerous golf courses to choose from, including the Jack Nicklaus-designed Breckenridge Golf Club on the north side of town.

There's also the Breckenridge Summer Fun Park at the top of the gondola, featuring a mountain roller coaster, slides and a chair lift ride to above 11,000 feet (3,350 meters) for scenic views.

For the adventurous types, there's rock climbing and rafting, and, to recover, numerous spa options around town that offer deals during the summer. In the winter you can ride horse drawn sleds, snowmobiles or let a sled dog take you on a ride.
