Villa Kiara is located 12km from the medieval city of Chania, literally a stone's throw away from Tarsanas beach. Tarsanas has a beautiful beach with golden sands, only 20m away from the villa. The villa is a two storey house with a beautiful garden full of olive trees and a spacious veranda offering amazing view of the nearby sandy beaches Kalathas and Stavros as well as a view of a magnificent sunset. Villa Kiara is ideal for those who are looking to have a relaxing and unforgettable family, friends holidays or peaceful and romantic vacation for two.
Tarsanas is a small seaside village around 12Km from Chania. Close to the villa Kiara, you will find a typical Cretan tavern and in the village, Chorafakia nearby tersanas there are two mini-markets and a few quite side restaurants and other activities, just 10 minutes' walk from Villa Kiara.

Villa kiara is built in two levels
- Ground floor offers an open plan living room with modern kitchen, a twin bedroom and a three piece recently fitted bathroom. It also offers direct access to a garden full of olive, linden and lemon trees and flowers. Under the linden trees there is a sitting area (table with chairs) where you may enjoy your meals and drinks. The garden also offers plenty of room for sun beds.
- The first level offers a spacious westerly facing reception room, with a three-seater and a two-seater sofas (one of which becomes a double bed), a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, one double room, two singles rooms with balcony, two smart modern bathrooms, large veranda witch gives you the sense of relaxation and the charm of the sea view with the wooden deck and dining table which accommodates up to 7 people.

Tersanas is a small coastal village located 12 km northeast of chania and hidden in a small cove on the west side of Akrotiri. The beach of Tersanas is shaped inside a natural harbour. It is a sandy beach with white fine sand and shallow crystal clear water.
Kalathas is located 3 km from villa Kiara, it is beautiful golden sandy beach with shallow crystal clear water. Opposite Kalathas, there is a small island which you can easily reach by swimming.

Stavros is located 3 km from villa Kiara One characteristic feature of the area is the very steep camel-shaped mountain rising opposite the harbor of Stavros. The mountain is famous, because there were filmed scenes for the film “Zorba the Greek”, where Anthony Quinn danced the famous Sirtaki Dance in the 1964 movie.

Maxerida is 1 km from villa Kiara the bay faces southwest and this is the reason the sea is mostly calm. A stunning little beach with sand and turquoise water is shaped in the center of the bay, surrounded by amazing rocks.
Seitan Limania is 7 km away from villa Kiara it is an exotic golden sandy beach
Kounoupidiana is located 6 km from villa kiara is the nearest town. There are you may find banks, pharmacies, doctors, big supermarkets and a large variety of local shops

Great location & property, so close to beach...

Helpful & prompt responses pre arrival, lovely welcome by Kiara. Light, bright, open plan living, with super views & great outside spaces. Really good to walk down road to beach with lovely, easy sea swim. Good beach bar & taverna to walk to also. Chania a beautiful city to visit & not far to travel to. Look forward to staying again Kiara X

Lovely home

This is a very nicely constructed house, with great windows and A/C, comfortable beds, and pretty grounds. There are three bedrooms in the house, accommodating 4 people (more if you used the couches), and the 4th bedroom is a separate little apartment on the ground floor. This apartment was fine for our teenagers. The owner was nice to work with and accommodated our late evening arrival, meeting us at the house. It was very hot during our stay and the cicadas were unceasing and so shrill, we found we could only sit out for a little while during the day on the terrace. Night was nice and quiet. For us, we found the house a little too far out of Chania, and the local beach, Tersanas, a little too placid. The beach is good for families with small children, who don't want any wave action. We drove to Falassarna one day and enjoyed the waves at that beach. Another day, we arranged for transport to Samaria Gorge, and did the hike.

An amazing villa, for just a few days or an extended stay

We stayed at three different places during our recent late May/early June trip to Crete, and this was by far our favorite. And beautiful, spacious home, with gorgeous ocean views and a very short walk to the beach. Perfect for kids in every way, great kitchen for preparing one's own food, and comfortable beds. Our favorite part was probably the big outdoor dining table, allowing us to have memorable meals overlooking the ocean and orchards.

Villa Kiara is a piece of paradise.

Our vacation at Villa Kiara was so perfect! The house in its private setting was beautiful and comfortable for our group of 6 adults. There were enough bedrooms and bathrooms for privacy and convenience. We enjoyed the living spaces inside and out, especially the large veranda with a big table and chairs perfect for meals and gatherings. A two minute walk down the street in front of the house took us to a gorgeous beach that we were happy to share with a few local families. We spent hours near the golden sands and turquoise water. it was heavenly! Cappucino at the beachside Rose Cafe started the day and delicious lunches and dinners were just a walk across the beach at the Tersanas Restaurant. The owner Theo was a friendly and helpful host. Kiara, the owner of the house, met us when we arrived and was very responsive to any phone call or email during our stay. She maintains the property to a very high standard. Her style was found all through the house in the furnishings and outside in the many gardens. We flew into Heraklion and then drove to the villa in about 2 hours. Kiara coached us by phone around the last few curves in the road and then had fruit, biscuits and wine to greet us. We all agreed the only thing wrong with our stay at Villa Kiara was that it should have been for two weeks instead of one!
