Your get-away retreat is equipped with all the amenities including wi-fi and cable with all premium sports and movie channels. It is conveniently located to ALL Bent Tree amenities and within walking distance (2 homes away) to the 19th Hole for Dining, golfing or a mountain setting driving range and putting green. Once you are done with a day of golf, enjoy a short walk for a late afternoon swim in Lake Tamarack, or a game of Bocci Ball. Hiking one of the many woodland scenic trails for waterfall viewing is also an option. Within a short drive are two swimming pools and indoor/outdoor tennis courts for year round tennis. Journey a short distance the opposite direction to find a dog park, waterfalls, lake swimming, stables for horse boarding and trail rides, a pavilion for parties, shuffle board and plenty of 'bent trees!'
Ken's story: As a full time residential appraiser, I have worked in the area for many years and fell in love with Bent Tree over twenty years ago. I purchased the home in the early 1990's and have played tennis here for as long. The area remains one of the most scenic areas I know of with amenities that make it very attractive for vacationing and also for retirement.
Stacy's Story: As Ken's fiancé, I first saw this home in Late 2012 when a long term renter suddenly left. What appeared initially to be a stroke of financial misfortune turned in to a unexpected and delightful blessing. It was immediately clear that underneath the previous 40 years of siding and flooring, the general structure had a very interesting floor plan and soaring exposed beam ceilings that made for a delightful weekend get away home. We bought a 'Zaw Saw' Memorial Day Weekend 2013 - with no idea how to use it - and spent the next 9 months renovating the top floor of this wonderful old home in the very best location. With the proximity to the lake for relaxing, kayaking, fishing and the closeness of the 19th Hole for Golf and easy and always good refreshments, we decided to open the completed top floor of the home to short term rental as we continued work on renovating the basement. Well in advance of our schedule, we completed the basement renovation and added a laundry room, bedroom, HVAC and redo of an existing bedroom. Next year or sooner, we will tackle the landscape and our parking and storage for important items like a canoe and a golf cart. Hopefully, we are creating a space perfect for families and couples and golfers looking for a special place to return year after year.

This home was one of the first homes built in Bent Tree in 1972. It remained a long term rental home until late 2013 when we decided to renovate from floor to rafter. The home's closeness to Atlanta and ideal local location to all Bent Tree amenities allows for an entire week or weekend spent without ever needing to drive anywhere in a car.

The house was very nice. We were very comfortable and had plenty of linnens. This house was very easy to access and the gate guards were very polite. Plenty of parking and fealt safe.
This was my wife and infants fist time in North Georgia and this was the perfect place to stay! The home is BEAUTIFUL! Very clean and cozy. Would definitely recommend this home!
This home is beautifully decorated and makes you feel instantly relaxed. The location is super convinient near the 19th Hole Restaurant, golfing and the beach. The owners are very responsive and pleasant. We definitely recommend it and would love to come back soon!
I made the prior review below and expect VRBO to change it from a 4 star to 5. I clicked the wrong button. When I walked in it was immaculate and I immediately noticed the care and preparation made before my arrival. I can't express enough how convenient the area is if you need convenience. The owners have tremendous pride in their house and I will attest to it. Visit, and find out for yourself. They have Netflix, wifi, and the works.

This location is beautiful inside and out. It was very peaceful here and we appreciated all the amenities close by. We were just staying here for a wedding but would gladly return for any vacation.
