This Post WWII stone house was hand-hewn by its original owner who spent 10 years digging through the rocks on the property's quarry. Updated at the beginning of 2014, this working farm is within a half-day's journey to numerous Upper Cumberland attractions, trails, and waterfalls. If guests prefer access to the urban, a Nashville, Knoxville or Chattanooga trip is with an hour-half journey. Numerous golf courses are a stone's throw as well. Guests are welcome to walk the trails on the property or cycle down Brotherton Mountain.

From the moment we walked through the back door we felt like we had stepped into another era! The house is amazing! It is so perfectly decorated and charming! Every little detail fits the house to a tee!
The house felt very fresh and clean. The property is beautiful and the farm animals are a great addition!
The only negatives I could say are that there should be a tv in the master bedroom and that we didn't have enough time to stay there longer ;)

Took a girls trip here. We were only able to stay the night but wish it was longer! Looks just as picture only better in person. Cabin was decorated adorable and had a very cozy feel. Short drive to so much. Can't wait to stay again. Owner was very helpful and answered all questions quickly.
Had a great time at this Farmhouse! It was very rustic and chic. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the animals as well as using the kitchen to make dinner. Would recommend this house to anyone! It's a very short drive from Nashville (a little over an hour).
This place is a wonderful vacation home, the whole family thoroughly enjoyed exploring this place. Highly recommended.
Wonderful old farm house, beautifully rustic and fantastically decorated. We brought in a few personal decorations and it turned out to be one of the best Christmas' I have had in years. I have pics of the place decorated if you would be interested in seeing them. We will be back without a doubt!
I would only suggest a few lamps in the living area and a fluorescent lightmounted under the kitchen shelving for the old eyes wearing transitional lenses.
Great place for family and friends to gather before and after TTU's Graduation! Loved the charm and beautiful surroundings. Beds are super comfy and there is a loft with cots for extra sleeping arrangements. Loved the barn with the twinkling lights and the bon fire pit! I hope to come back soon! Thank you for your hospitality and for sharing this unique home!
