Our visit to the finca was lovely and as the pictures do not do it justice it exceeded all expectations. The owner built his paradise with great care which is evident in the siting, design/layout, and choice of stone and wood materials. The cook Mercedes was amazing. The other staff were extremely helpful. We loved sitting out and enjoying the beautiful air and the view over the mountains. We had fun with the games and video library. We used the stay to reconnect, read, and rejuvenate. There is not a lot to do but there is enough to do. The only issues we had were with hot water and accessing the main building during the night. At some point it gets locked, plan ahead and bring drinking water to the bedroom buildings when you tuck in.
I would give this property more stars if possible! The property is wonderful! The employees are terrific. Mercedes is a fabulous cook and took such wonderful care of us. We provided the food and she created delicious meals. The property is maintained perfectly. The owners called to make sure everything was going well! Plenty of room for a full family to spread out or stay close together in the many areas of this lovely home. We loved sitting out on the porch at the end of the day. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay! Take note: someone needs to speak Spanish for communicating with the staff. Also, you need a four wheel drive vehicle to get up the drive. This is definitely a place to visit and take time to relax and enjoy! Thank you to everyone!
I went to Nicaragua to celebrate my 50th birthday with my family. I live in Massachusetts, one brother came from Texas and my other brother from Florida. For our last weekend in Nicaragua, we went to Santa Isabel to relax from the busy 10 days of celebrations. What a delight! Every detail from the flowers to the board games! it was incredible. We hiked through the plantation, we relaxed in the hammocks, kids played soccer in the yard, we all played board games but most important, we had time to sit back, relax and enjoy each other as a family. The place is magnificent! it has (4) bedrooms with private bathrooms outside of the common areas. In the common areas, there is plenty of room for everybody to be together or separate if you wish to isolate. It was 18 of us and we all found our own space while being together. You really withdraw from the city life. It is quiet, serene, beautiful and peaceful. The views are spectacular! The owner have small blankets around the house in case it gets chilly. The staff is so pleasant and attentive. They are on top of every detail of service without being on your way. The beds & pillows are comfortable. There is hot water in the shower. Every area was clean, comfortable and pleasant! I can't say it enough, Santa Isabel is so beautiful and it has so much to do or do nothing at all!
We highly recommend Finca Santa Isabel. We went for a family vacation and the facilities and experience exceeded our expectations. The place is beautiful and the people there are wonderful. We had one of the best family vacations ever.
We took my mother to Santa Isabel to celebrate her 85th birthday and it was wonderful. We were 16 in our group from all age ranges and there was something to do for everybody, from relaxing in a hamock enjoying a gourgous view of nature at its best, to hiking through the coffee plantations, to riding horses, playing soccer. The house is beatiful, clean and comfortable. Great Vacation, highly recommend it.
My husband and I got away for a mini retreat to start the year. Santa Isabel was the perfect place! the view is gorgeous, is quiet and peaceful. The house is beautiful, new, neat and extremely comfortable. You are sorrounded by coffee plants. We are looking forward to return to Santa Isabel! Highly Recommend it.
