3 Bed/3 Bath Penthouse apartment with air-con , gardens, parking and pool
This is a modern penthouse apartment on the third floor with a lift. There are gardens and a pool. It is fully air-conditioned and has 3 double bedrooms each with an en-suite bathroom as well a convertible sofa bed in the living room. Up to Eight guests can stay. We also have a high chair, toys and travel cot if needed.
We have a large south facing terrace ( 20 sq m) looking towards sea with table and six chairs and sunbeds. Double doors lead to the kitchen as well as the living room so we enjoy many meals on the balcony
There is a large living room with a dining table for up to ten, and a separate fully equipped kitchen. You will have a reserved off-street secure parking place behind remote controlled gates. We have a private swimming pool in gardens for residents or and it is a short 500m walk to the safe shallow Sandy Beaches.
Golfe=Juanm is pretty with two harbours and lots of harbourside restaurants to enjoy.
The apartment is spacious and has facilities for Children including High Chair, Cot Bed and loose leaf cover for dining chair as well as PlayStation 2 with Games for older children. For Bridge players, there are bidding boxes, table, cards etc.
Golfe-Juan is the real unspoilt French Riviera. Good restaurants (Michelin Starred) and many others along the sea and harbour side. Golfe-Juan has a free shuttle bus all around the town. The nearby train station means you don't need to have a car. Italy is a short distance away.
The apartment is set in a quiet residential road within walking 200m distance of shops. The Town centre with more shops and the beach front are about 500m away. Tennis and Golf nearby. Golfe-Juan is close to Juan-les-Pins and Canens for night life..
When you come you will be met by our multi-lingual local manager who will show you around. Our prices are fully inclusive of everything including sheets and towels.
Golfe-Juin is a malle town between Cannes and Antibes and is the real South of France. The area and road we are in is very quiet with little traffic. Small shops are nearby so that your children can go for walks on their own.
The apartment has English Satellite TV and fast Internet/WiFi is included.
In the gardens there is a pool with washing facilities, as well as a boules pitch and an olive grove where you can sit on the grass or benches for shade from the sun.
Buses run from the end of the road so that a car is not essential.
Golf: There are three golf courses within 15 minutes drive and many others in the area.

About Celia and John Newgas
We are a family with three children ( now grown up ). We bought this apartment, as we wanted somewhere where could all stay together for holidays and later use when the weather is cold in the UK. We are a professional couple - an accountant and a CEO running Trade Associations.. We like Food, relaxing and classical Music. Celia loves the beach side walks and to see the Fish being sold straight from boats in the morning.

Why Celia and John Newgas chose Vallauris
I used to come to the South of France as a child. The weather is lovely with bright sunlight. We wanted somewhere very close to the sea, but not actually on the sea-front. Golfe-Juan is small town, with mainly French residents. It is close to Cannes, Juan-les-Pins and Antibes so that there is loads to do. When we chose the location it was essential that access was good and a car was not needed. We chose la Desirade because it was in a quiet location and had large gardens and a private swimming pool. The people here are friendly.
What makes this Apartment unique
We can see the sea from our living room and terrace, and see mountains on the other side of the apartment. We liked la Desirade because it had generous space and grounds. As most of the residents are French and out at work , the grounds and pool are not crowded. Everyone is friendly and we greet each other with a 'Bonjour'. Parking is easy as we have our own space and you will get a remote control for the gates. The areas is quiet and safe. Children can go down to the beach and teenagers explore on their own without worry. The gardens have a small olive grove for shade and bench seats set in the grass. There is even a boules pitch to play french style bowls. We bought the apartment with the intention to spend winters here, so we chose one which had plenty pf space for us, and one bathroom for each bedroom so that our children and friends can feel comfortable. The apartment is furnished for comfort during a hot summer ... we have the usual things like internet and WifFi and UK Radio and TV, but also plentiful supplies of wine glasses and plates with a real kitchen so that feeding families is easy. One of the attractions of France is that that there are many places offering prepared food that just needs cooking or even warming for a super meal. Our favourite time is at 6 in the evening when we all sit on the terrace with nibbles and an aperitif. Try a Pineau de Charentes - our favourite and enjoy the sunset.

We can't find anything to fault this apartment on.
The apartment is bright and clean. It is well equipped. Excellent location. Very handy for the local bus services.
The lounge and balcony gets the sun all day.
I was here with my wife, my mother-in-law, and my wife's aunt.
The senior pair had never done a self-catering holiday before. This apartment has now given them the idea for the future.
Markus, the property manager, is on hand should any issues, regardless, arise.
It is an easy walk (15 - 20 minutes) to the port, beaches and railway station from the apartment.
As previously stated, take a li-lo or something similar to with you should you wish to laze about the pool.

A beautiful, spacious apartment that is very well equipped and in a quiet location but within easy walking distance of the sandy beach; it is situated on the top floor and can be accessed by a lift. The premises are entered via security gates and door entry code. There was ample room for our group of six with a huge lounge and plenty of space for everyone on the very large, sunny balcony.The kitchen has excellent appliances and all the equipment you would need if you plan to cook. The property has air con, was very clean and the apartment block well maintained. The owner was most helpful with advice and information about the local area and there were plenty of instructions for use of the internet /TV/DVD etc. The pool area was really nice and very clean but you might want to take loungers/inflatables to lie on as there is nothing provided. The small town is about 15-20 minutes walk away and has all the usual shops. There are plenty of restaurants to suit all tastes along the harbour side and various water sports and boat trips and the train that runs along the coast is superb for exploring the area. We would certainly recommend this property if you are looking for somewhere tranquil but within walking distance of the livelier parts of the town.
5 star holiday accomodation
A brilliant apartment that caters for every need.set in a peaceful environment.I stayed with my Mother brother and daighter and we all had a good time here.Would have liked to had some deckchairs for the pool but we coped with towels.Well done John we hope to stay again next year.
Rummelig, behagelig lejlighed med dejlig terrasse og god beliggenhed ca 10 minutters gang fra strand
Lejligheden er både veludstyret og rummelig (kan nemt rumme 6 voksne uden problemer). Alt fungerer og er ligetil. Der er styr på tingene (også fra udlejers side) Ejendommen er meget velholdt og beliggende i roligt område. Der er kort afstand til det meste. Indenfor ca 10 min gang er der adgang til indkøb, strand, restaurant, apotek mm. Bussen til Cannes tager 15 min. og der er en køretur på 30 min til Nice og 45 min. til Monaco. Et dejligt sted der kan anbefales.
Golfe-Juan is very close to Cannes and Juan-les-Pins/Antibes and is an unspoilt small residential seaside town, .
It has easy access by car or train to Cannes, Nice, MonteCarlo, Italy and all the towns on the coast.
There are lots of speciality shops. On the seaside beach and by the harbour there are many sea-front restaurants varying from ice-cream/snacks up to starred Michelin restaurants where the fashionable come from Cannes.
Golfe-juan is the lower half of the town of which Vallauris is the uphill part, It is well known for the artists who have lived nearby such as Picasso. This is the real South of France and has kept its residential character. La Desirade is a small mainly residential block with some holiday-makers and is in a peaceful tree lined street.
Excursions to italy, Monaco, Cannes, Antibes, Golfe-Juan Night-life and jazz, Picasso Museum, Chagall at Maeght Foundation, Car Museum, Isle Lerins ( Man in the Iron Mask, Roman Ruins and hilltop towns to see.
Enjoy the relaxed good life, with sunshine, sandy beaches and fragrant plants.

Additional pricing information
The costs include heating/water/wifi/linen etc. There are NO extras Rental amounts are per week, and include all costs such as linen, towels water electricity, internet, taxes etc. There is a compulsory end of stay cleaning charge of £90/€110 which is included in the rates above on this site. There is a security deposit to be paid locally and refunded when you leave of 250 Euro. If not paid through this site Rentals can be paid in Euro or in Pounds sterling at your choice. The actual charges are in Euros - pound depends on rate at the time.
