Beautifully renovated, 126 year old condominium, located in Louisville's Butchertown neighborhood and NULU district. Enjoy some of Louisville's best restaurants and locally owned boutiques within a 4 block walk. Downtown Louisville and the YUM! Center is just 1 mile away and Churchill Downs is a quick 15 minute drive away.

This 1,050 square foot condo has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, an eat-in, fully equipped kitchen, living room and outside deck. Sleeps 2 people. There is off street parking behind the building. Non-smoking property. No pets.

$175/night except Derby Week (May 1-May 8) which is $575/night (3 nights minimum).

Why Doug Weede chose Louisville

I was looking to downsize my living space and was attracted to this area because the NULU business district (2 blocks away) has many locally owned restaurants, boutiques, attractions, coffee shops, etc. The area has a lot of energy.

What makes this condo unique

The stained glass window in the lower unit grabbed my attention the first time I drove up to the property. During the renovation we used as much of the original structure and other materials as possible in order to protect the historical value.

Beautiful and Modern Condo

My friend and I loved our girls' weekend at the condo in Louisville. It is located in a really nice part of town and is within walking distance of several boutiques and restaurants with the occasional pop up flea market. Not only was the condo very clean, it was updated with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen and very well maintained. We appreciated all of the accommodations that Doug, the owner, provided us with! If we had forgotten any toiletries or most cooking items, we were able to find them somewhere in the condo. I would definitely recommend this condo for couples, families, and friends. If we come back to Louisville again, we will definitely look into staying here again!

Great house for a couple!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights during Forecastle and to do a little bit of the Bourbon Trail. We found it to be easy access to everything we needed whether by walking, driving or taking Uber/Lyft. We would stay here again. I have a few negatives, and this is being EXTREMELY picky. Maybe it's more of a suggestion really. An extra hook to hang towels/clothing on in the bathroom and maybe a curved shower curtain rod to allow more light in. It's dark in there! Again, that's me just being picky. The place is great and we feel lucky to have had the opportunity to stay there.

Nulu hideaway

We spent two nights in Dougs beautiful condo to walk/visit the Nulu/Butchertown area and attend the Blues Festival at the water tower. Doug took time to make sure all the little things went smoothly, his communication was speedy and filled with venue "tips" while visiting. The fridge was well stocked, beer, water, sodas the condo was spotless and tastefully furnished and immaculate. When visiting for events in Louisville we will now consider Dougs condo as our first choice over any hotel we've stayed in. We walked the neighborhood and enjoyed Taj, great little bar, Akasha Brewery, Please and Thank You Bakery, and the local boutiques and of course Butchertown Grocery and Prohibition Bar as the cap for our Sat night. Once again Doug is a wonderful host and the condo is exceptional. PS excellent off street parking in the rear of the building.

Great condo, super clean unit.

Enjoyed our stay at Doug's condo, very quiet area and within walking distances to many attractions. The bus stop for the free Zero Bus was located one block away, it's very convenient and easy to navigate around town. We would definitely recommend the Trolley Tour, since they really give you a great overview of the city. Doug was very helpful and bent over backwards to make sure we were comfortable! And we were! When we go back, this is definitely where we will stay!

Well equipped and great location

My husband and I plus our one year old had a wonderful time visiting Louisville over Memorial Day weekend. Partly so by staying in this great rental. It was very well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. (Though I couldn't find a jellyroll pan for biscuits one morning. It had everything else we needed). Best of all it had a very comfortable bed something I know from staying at many VRBOs is not always a guarantee. Also great was its location to the very cool Nulu area. It was a very easy walk to some delicious coffee shops (Please & Thank You) and restaurants (Butchertown Grocery for dinner and Toast on Market for bfast). There is more we want to see in Louisville so we will definitly be back up from Nashville and hope to stay here again.

Perfect Condo in Butchertown

My wife and I rented this property for almost 2 weeks to attend the Derby and our daughter's graduation. In between we enjoyed the sights and cuisine (and bourbon of course) of Louisville. The location in up-and-coming Butchertown was wonderful. Even better, the condo was perfect. It was clean, well appointed with off-street parking. Doug provided a great welcome basket and a well stocked kitchen. He was very responsive and available to answer any questions. If you want to spend some time in Louisville, spend it here.
