Beachfront home with huge patio right on the water. walking distance to all the restaurants and shops of Belmont shore and Alamitos Bay in Belmont Shore. This is one of the best locations in the city of Long Beach. Overlooks Alamitos Bay and a two block walk to all of the shops and restaurants of 2nd Street in Belmont Shore. The unit has an amazing sandy beach directly in front that is perfect for small children to plan and adults to sit and sunbath. Many other beach activities are also at your doorstep.

A large private patio with tables and chairs, and has an unobstructed view of sand and water. Chairs, beach toys for kids, boogie board, kayak, and stand up paddle board provided. Full linens and are provided with on site washer and dryer for your convenience. Fully equipped kitchen with all the amenities. plates, cups utensils etc., Flat screen TV mounted on the wall, dinning table inside with chairs for 6 people, patio with out door dinning and seating for 6-8 people wireless internet and parking are included. Go Jump in the Bay

It's great to just walk across the street and be on a wonderful beach and go swimming in the bay. This place is not the Ritz, nor should it be. It's a beach cottage! Relax, sit on the patio and enjoy.

Perfect location at the bay, nice place but does need some upkeeping

Overall we had a lovely stay, amazing location for a family vacation. We basically "lived" in the porch and the beach!. It was just awesome, exactly what we wanted.

The house does need some upkeeping though. We pointed out some things to the owner and he was very nice, got them repaired.Nevertheless, there are still other things that need attention- problems with plumbing, windows and screens, couches are very old and under them there was a lot of accumulated dirt, carpet was old, etc

It's the beach!

Always a great time at this place. Sure the furniture could be better but you should be outside anyways. It's the beach! Play in the water & sand. Rinse off in the outdoor shower & do it all over again. We'll all be back again!

very rundown

First of all, the management company was not very dependable. I spoke to 4 different people when trying to ask questions about the property and they weren't all sure of what was supplied at this property when I would finally get through to one of them. Communication was poor.

When we arrived, they were having a heat wave and the one fan they had was defective and there is no A/C. The windows in the bedrooms don't open and one of the window panes was cracked. The sliding doors to the front porch do not have screens and as was mentioned in previous reviews, the umbrellas are in poor shape.

The place was not very clean and the kitchen had leftover food and supplies from previous renters. There seemed to be lots of things left from previous renters, in the bathroom also. One bedroom had no flat sheet and the management company then provided some fitted sheets. We put this on the cracked, vinyl sofa, which the company had the nerve to blame us for (there were just 2 adults). It was hit and miss with the tv and there werent any instructions.

Being from Arizona, we enjoy going to the shore in the summer. We usually go to San Diego where the accomodations have been excellent but decided to try Belmont Shore for a change. I don't think we'll be going back to Long Beach after this experience.

The location is good and there is one parking space. But, I would not rent here again.

Laid back beach music

Good location, but junky and run down.

This place is in a great location right across the street from the beach. It has a really nice patio. It is large with 2 tables and 16 nice chairs. The umbrellas are so old that they would rip when we tried to put them up and it was hot enough that we needed them.

The place was fairly large with two large bedrooms. There was a huge TV with 3 remotes and 4 boxes and no instructions on how to use them. The sofa is broken down and the vinyl is pealing off. There is a nice large table in the dining room with 6 chairs.

The kitchen has some retro tile work that is cute, a nice new fridge, but everything in the kitchen looks like it came from a garage sale or the Goodwill. It was dirty with food left from other renters.

The bathroom has only one window that opens, they painted the tub so it looks dirty, but it is just pealing paint. There were no wash cloths. I had to use a towel to wash my face. There was another renters Depends in the cupboard... weird.

The bedrooms are large, but the mattresses were very hard. The bedding looked like it was second hand. The sheets had no elastic so they slipped off the bed as you slept. There was no mattress pads either. There were 6 windows in the room we slept in, but we could only get 1 to open completely and another that opened maybe 8 inches.

We are not sure if we would rent this place again.
