Reviewer Comments:

Such a nice rental, quaint and cozy. The private hot and quite setting made a perfect location for our Anniversary weekend. Plenty of towels, clean and comfortable bed linens, and a kitchen with plenty of utensils and cookware! The only minor negative was the main shower floor needs some attention, but wouldn't stop us from renting from it again. Can't say enough about how easy Deep Creek Lodging Company made the reservation process, everyone was pleasant and helpful.

Reviewer Comments:

The biggest positive is that the rental company had this place super clean, and we love the location. We weren't as impressed with the house as we had hoped. I hate to leave negative reviews, but I'm going to be honest here. The floor needs MAJOR work. Both my husband and I got our toes caught on nails the first day, so it was shoes on in the house for the remainder of our stay (which was a week). The sofas are 2 small love seats and they are in desperate need of replacing. Neither one of us are large people, and we each sat down on one and almost sank to the floor. The one near the kitchen table is in slightly better shape. There are very few windows and no screens for the front door or back door in the bedroom, making it hard to get any sort of breeze. We had a horribly rainy week so ended up having to keep the a/c on most of the time, and it was extremely loud. The few times we turned it off and opened the windows there was very little cross breeze and it didn't cool down much at all. There is not a whole lot of natural light, and in the downstairs bedroom, there is one tiny light on the wall that gives off hardly any light. We had to buy a cheap lamp to put in there to see anything. The downstairs bathroom shower needs to be re-grouted. It's quite gross in the corners, and it smelled clean, but just needs an overhaul. The downstairs bed has a major dip/hole on one side. The upstairs bed is wedged between 2 walls so that you have to crawl into it via the end to sleep. There's no DVD player on the main TV downstairs. Overall, this would be a good cabin for a short stay in fabulous weather so you're not stuck in it for long periods at a time. It's much smaller than we thought it was going to be. We didn't get to use the hot tub due to weather, so can't comment. Construction behind the house is very noisy as well, we were surprised they were doing so much work in such bad weather, but they were, and it was very loud by 7am each morning.
