Guestbook comments from the owner

We stayed at these apartments 3 times in 5 weeks for a total of 7 nights, and in all aspects, the apartments were top-notch!

All 3 units we occupied were spacious, clean, modern and fully comfortable. Sam and Kate are great hosts, and their staff members are most pleasant and helpful.

The kitchens are spacious, including a large refrigerator, 4-burner stove, roomy table and chairs. The bathroom is compact but fully functional clean & modern.

I especially appreciated the ample storage, including a large bedroom closet and a very handy 5-shelf unit outside of the bathroom.

Wi-fi was reliable and fast. Patios are spacious and the apartments are quiet, as is the neighborhood. Loved having a washing machine and dryer near the office!

The grocery store is very close, and is well-stocked with good food and wine, which are great for an aperitivo on the balcony in the afternoon.

It is conveniently located, there is a Bus (495) located just a 1 minute walk from the Apartments. It is 10 minute walk to the metro, but we found that we could travel anywhere in Rome from that point!

These apartments were a great find!

“Fantastic accommodation for me and my BIG family!”

  • 5 of 5

I recently got married in Rome and needed a set of apartments for myself, family and friends. These were perfect as they allowed everyone to have their own space and be close to each other too. They are large, clean and modern (which I really like given the usual small, floral, dated decor that is quite common in Italian hotels). Yes the surrounding location is not the cleanest, but its Rome! The bus and metro links are great and get you into the centre in minutes. What really was the winner for me was the amazing staff that run this beautiful set of apartments. Kate and Sam went above and beyond to make sure that myself and all our guests were happy. Not only that, they helped order decorations for our wedding day and booked all our wedding transport for us. They really were extremely helpful! Its great to stay somewhere when you are abroad where the staff are so kind and helpful. I highly recommend a stay here!

Very comfortable, bright and spacious apartment

  • 5 of 5

Based on other reviews we asked Aurelia Vatican Apartments to pre-book a taxi to collect us from the airport. It was well worth it and nearly same price as hailing a taxi. The apartment was spacious and bright, comfortable bed, quiet at night, spacious bathroom and lots of hot water. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and it is for this reason I would thoroughly recommend staying. They gave us a great information booklet about everything we needed to know and took us through a map pointing out places of interest. They gave us great tips about avoiding Q's and booking tickets online. They even checked us in for our flight home and printed out our boarding passes for us.

"We stayed at the hotel for few days a short walk from the metro and very close to the main attractions in Rome, yet very quiet area. We had a family room that was very clean and got all the needed facilities. We receive a useful information from the staff. The hotel has a very nice yard and adjacent free parking. To sum up a great place to stay in Rome"

Our Family had the pleasure of recently staying at Aurelia Vatican Apartments.!!

  • 5 of 5

Our Family had the pleasure of recently staying at Aurelia Vatican Apartments.

We would definitely stay here again in the future, only next time we would plan to stay for longer than 2 nights!

We arranged to be met at the airport with the assistance of Sam and this was money well spent. Traveling with 2 teenagers, my husband and I calculated costs and being met at the airport was actually cheaper than taking trains and the metro, not to mention a stress free.

On our arrival the first evening, we were pleasantly surprised by our accommodations and was greeted by Kate, who spent 20-30 minutes with us, describing the area and providing us information about public transportation. It was late Sunday evening and she recommended a restaurant.

This was by far the accommodation during our trip around Europe. We were able to purchase our bus/metro tickets right in the office from Kate and then either walk 1 minute out the door to a bus stop, or walk 10 minutes to the Metro directly.

Aurelia Vatican Apartments is kind to the budget, provided us with comfortable beds, plenty of hot water and free WiFi. We wanted practical, comfortable, safe accommodations that were family friendly - we were pleasantly surprised with what we found. Adults had a room off the living room/kitchen next to the nicely appointed bathroom, and the three boys had single beds arranged in a loft over the living area.

The apartment was very clean with a daily cleaning service and quiet. We didn't do much cooking, but the kitchen seemed to be stocked with necessary supplies.

The customer service we received was nothing short of phenomenal! Bravo to all the staff. (Sam, Kate, Giada & Isaac)

I recommend staying at Aurelia Vatican Apartments, we plan to stay next time we return to Rome!

Our stay at Aurelia Vatican Apartments could not have gone any better..!!

Our stay at Aurelia Vatican Apartments could not have gone any better..!!

The Apartments are very nice, modern and most importantly very clean.

The Staff (Sam, Kate & Giada) were fantastic, providing us with useful information & maps upon our arrival. They even planned out a personalised itinerary for our five days in Rome and booked tickets for monuments for us.

There is a really good supermarket located a couple of minutes walk from the Apartments and public transport (Bus & Metro) will get you anywhere you need to go during your visit to Rome.

I would highly recommend Aurelia Vatican Apartments to anyone visiting Rome

Aurelia Vatican Apartments is a must stay when in Rome

  • 5 of 5

We recently stayed in Aurelia Vatican Apartments and could not have been happier.!!

Where to begin, I think it would only be fair to start with the Staff at AVA. The level of service and most importantly sincerity was amazing. From the moment we booked we felt that we were in the care of people who were not only very professional but sincerley concerned themselves with making our stay in Rome the best it could be.

The reception staff were amazing, Sam, Kate, Giada & Isaac were always more than happy to help. Proving us with excellent information about things to see & do in Rome. On our arrival they sat us down, offered us a coffee and helped plan a personalised itinary for our Families week in Rome.

Our Apartment was very nice, modern and clean. Actually our apartment was cleaned every day, which we were not expecting, as all of other stays in Apartments only provided a final clean. Even the cleaners were very nice to us.

The kids loved coming back to the Apartments after a day of sight seeing so they could play in the courtyard with the turtles in the foutain. They also loved playing with little Spartacus (French Bulldog) in the office.

The Apartments are located in a very relaxed, tranquil suburb in Rome. Which is great after a day of Sight seeing in the centre. There is a bus located directly in front if the Apartments and a metro located just down the road. This maked getting anywere in the City very easy.

There are also supermarkets and cafes with in walking distance.

Our Family had a great stay at Aurelia Vatican Apartments, we will definately be staying there again the next time we are in Rome.

I would definately recommend staying here for anyone looking for reasonably priced accommodation in Rome in Beautiful Apartments with exceptional customer service.
