This magnificent cabin is located just outside of Mormon Lake Village in Tall Pines Estates. It was built in 1999 from white pine timbers trucked across the country from the Upper Peninsula in Michigan.
An open island kitchen, dining area, and living room with a wood-burning stove greet you as you enter the cabin on the ground floor. Down the hall are two bedrooms, one with two sets of bunk beds perfect for kids, and one with a queen size Sealy bed.
The main bathroom, laundry area, and mud room with extra refrigerator complete the ground floor.
Up the stairs is a large loft/bedroom with queen size Sealy bed, sitting area, second bathroom, and deck.
This house is surrounded on three sides by large decks for relaxing and entertaining.
Cabin was perfect for me and my family. We attended a wedding at the Mormon Lake Lodge and the cabin location was just perfect.
We stayed here for my son's wedding on 09/19, the cabin was very clean and comfortable. we had everything we needed from toilet paper to Wifi, it was convenient to the lodge and the wedding venue (5 minute drive). We all felt very much at home here and I would recommend this beautiful cabin to anyone, I hope to rent again in the future for a family vacation. My son's spend a lot of time in this beautiful community and the people are all so friendly.
We were fortunate to stumble across your cabin when researching a place for a four-generational stay to attend our Granddaughter's wedding at Mormon Lake. The home and surroundings are gorgeous and resort-like. Several visitors dropped in and all were in awe of your place and insisted on touring the entire cabin. It was comfortable for everyone ranging from 1 to 78 year of age. It was clean, well stocked with the necessities and with so much more including comfortable beds and furniture, cook friendly kitchen, propane bbq and high quality electronics including wi-fi. We were impressed with the "book" which gave instructions, answered questions and even told the charming history of your home. Chris, we appreciated your quick and friendly communications. Although it's a ten+ hour drive from our SoCal home, we hope to return one day. Thank your for a marvelous stay and making such a special event in our lives even more perfect.
We stayed at the White Pine Cabin in Mormon Lake and had a great time! Chris was extremely gracious and helpful with any of our questions and concerns! The cabin is immaculate and our family had a great time! We've been up to the Mormon Lake area a few times, but we didn't have an experience like this before. The grandkids had fun riding bikes, going on hikes, and doing projects with Gramma. We did some trail riding in our buggies and got caught in the rain 1 night. But no worries, they got dried off and we got everybody into karaoke and dancing in the great room. The kids and grandkids did a horseback ride over at the Lodge one day. Saturday was catch and release day at the Lodge. They loved it so much, they had to do some more "fishin" before loading up and heading back down the hill. We brought our own propane firepit since I wasn't sure what fire restrictions might be in place, but Chris already had a wood firepit onsite. We are definitely planning on returning! The granddaughters keep asking when we're all going back up to their cabin. The bunkbed room worked out well for 3 little girls, the loft bedroom was cool, and the regular bedroom was comfy. Even though it might make it harder for us to reserve in the future, we highly recommend the White Pine Cabin! This place is definitely a gem in the forest!
Great Place to unwind. Spacious and comfortable. Direct TV and Internet make this a dream with kids and their ipads. Plenty of opportunity for outdoor activity. Mormon Lake Lodge has better food than you would expect from a place in the middle of nowhere. Only two comment. 1. The place could use labels on the light switches and 2. It would be nice to be able to use all the decks.
The owner was very responsive and helpful.
Our family of six enjoyed our stay here in Mormon Lake. While we were there we were able to do a morning trail ride with the Mormon Lake Lodge Ranch - just a few minutes away. We also traveled to Sedona on 89A one day (GORGEOUS route) and spent some time in Flagstaff. Loved the Lowell Observatory. It was great to have an oven and refrigerator and we appreciated the clean and tidy home. Pretty views out the many windows. Also, our bed was super comfortable. I actually checked the label because I want to buy one just like it! Thanks, Chris, for a great experience in your home.
