About Rita Lovell

I own a real estate business in the Cody area and I live in Clark, 30 miles north of Cody, at the base of the Beartooth Mountains. As I travel to work everyday, I always marvel at scenery as it changes with the time of year and time of day. I enjoy riding my horses and gardening. Often my husband and I will take one of our antique cars and tour through Yellowstone or across the Beartooth Highway. I hope you will enjoy visiting Cody's country as much as I enjoy living here. I am a real estate licensee in the State of Wyoming and Montana.

This home is beautiful inside and out! I have never stayed in a vacation home this well stocked. It was great not having to run out for anything when we arrived. An abundance of high quality towels and linens available. Beds were so comfortable! Close to town. I'm planning to stay here again next year! Thank you, Rita!

Beautiful home with everything you need for an awesome vacation!

  • 5 of 5

From the moment we walked in we felt right at home! This house is immaculate and lovingly maintained by its owners, Rita and Art. Beautiful woodwork and trim throughout the house, washer and dryer, comfortable beds, lots of closet and dresser space and a great shower. Relax on the patio with your coffee in the morning and in the evening with a glass of wine as you watch the sun set in that big, beautiful western sky! The kitchen is fully stocked and has many items that I have never seen in a rental. A lot of thought went into this house. It is very close to the downtown area and many of the area's attractions. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet. Mule deer and rabbits were seen daily and even a neighborhood cat came by and hung out with us on the patio one night. We couldn't have been happier with our accommodations and can't wait to book for next year. Thanks for making us feel so at home Rita and Art, your hospitality is much appreciated!

Exceeded my expectations! Like new house walking distance to main street

Better than expected. House has been recently remodeled with all new appliances. Everything you need is there and ready. Take a short walk up to Sheridan St where the restaurants and shops are. Highly recommended.

Amazing home with all the ammenities

  • 5 of 5

This home is very nice, clean and in a quiet neighborhood, just a few blocks walking distance from town. Appliances and furnishings are new and the beds are comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and the owners provide extra touches like bottled water, chocolate treats, coffee, tea, sugar, pancake mix, spices and other essentials. There's a deck for sitting outside to enjoy the weather and off street parking that's a bonus. The hosts are available if you have questions. I would highly recommend staying at this home.

Perfect home for our family trip

  • 5 of 5

Rita and Art are lovely and offer a sweet comfortable home getaway for our family of four. We saw 2 deer and a bunny in the backyard and loved how close it was to the main strip on Sheridan and Walmart. We stopped off here after driving up through yellowstone from the tetons and loved how close it was to shoshone national park so we can take short drives up there in the mornings before we enjoyed mini golfing with our young children in City Park. This home in a pretty and quiet neighborhood was just right to top off our vacation.

Best value

  • 5 of 5

Very comfortable and spacious.

Impressed by facilities and attention to detail and the availability of lots of small useful things for kitchen/ laundry etc [not always found in VRBO rentals].

We have stayed in many VRBO rentals around the world and rate this as one of the best.

Buffalo Bill State Park
Car: recommended

Cody, Wyoming, Buffalo Bill's town in the Rockies, offers a plethora of activities and sight seeing. Cody is a scenic 50 miles from the East Gate of the nation's first national park, Yellowstone. The Beartooth Highway has been called the 'most scenic highway in North America' and is a beautiful loop drive from Cody. It is my favorite drive and the Beartooth pass is at about 11,000 feet. Buffalo Bill's Center of the West is 5 museums under one roof. June, July and August, there is a nitely rodeo. Then there is the Irma Hotel, built by Buffalo Bill in 1902 and the nitely Gun Fight at 6 pm in front of the Irma's porch. Plenty of outdoor activities including river rafting, hiking, horseback riding and fishing are all available.
