About Steve & Jane Call

My wife and I have owned and rented our cabin since 1995. We take great pride in making our cabin a rustic, cozy and enjoyable place to relax and enjoy the area.

Steve & Jane Call purchased this cabin in 1995

Why Steve & Jane Call chose Pinetop

Pinetop is a nice mountain community. The alpine weather is a great contrast to the desert. At 7300 ft. altitude and the many trees on our property make this a true mountain retreat.

What makes this cabin unique

This is a custom built log home. The builder was the premier builder of log homes in this area and is known for quality and comfort.

Very nice and cozy!

  • 5 of 5

The property was well kept, clean, decorated, and inviting. My spouse and I came up just for a little weekend getaway. The jacuzzi was clean and well kept, the bed in the loft (the only one we used) was comfortable, there was ample kitchen utensils and appliances ( but bring your own everything! Aside from a few spices, that's about it. We left some coffee behind for the next guests ), plenty of towels available, plenty of books and games, the TV's were all hooked up, WiFi was easy enough to connect to, and the area was very quiet. It was a little difficult finding the property as the address was not very well demarked, but a little Google map skills brought us to the right doorstep. Overall a nice, hitch-free, excellent getaway. There is ample room to sleep and dine with at least 6 adults, definitely enough room for two families with a few children. Cold tap water tastes good as well, a refreshing difference from the valley. The heat seemed weak, but was compensated by the nice fireplace. Couldn't figure out the space heaters in the walls. Most things are labeled well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, for a couple, it was peaceful, easy, quiet, and relaxing - exactly what we were looking for!

Delightful cabin.

  • 5 of 5

Overall excellent! Well maintained; very good location, inside a forest country club, near the ski park (it's just outside town, so closer to Sunrise).

It's close to a couple of convenient stores (1-2 miles) so you can easily drive there.

You can tell it's not new, but owner takes good care of it. Beds and mattresses were fine; heating, laundry room, kitchen, tvs, cable, wifi, everything worked. And the spa is a great plus! Two bedrooms downstairs, one bed each. Upstairs is not really a bedroom but a loft with a bed and a futon. Perfect for two small families (we were two couples; kids stayed upstairs and enjoyed). Upstairs not for babies or toddlers, though, as they could easily fall.

We enjoyed snowfall during New Years, kids played outside on the street as it is very quiet, almost no through traffic.

Definitely will recommend and will try to comeback.
