Guestbook comments from the owner

"We had a fantastic stay in Brewster and I would highly recommend this accommodation to others. The house was immaculately clean and well appointed within. The kitchen was modern and well equipped, not only with one but two different coffee makers! The kitchen was open plan with an eating area and a comfortable sitting area including TV and i-pod docking audio system. Additionally there was free wi-fi. The three bedrooms were comfortable and spacious, whilst the two bathrooms and one toilet were modern and spotlessly clean. Linen and towels were provided which was an important consideration for us as we had traveled from the UK. Air conditioning throughout kept us all comfortably cool. Beach equipment was even provided and kept in a small quaint shed in the garden. There is a folder in the house with useful information about Brewster and Cape Cod including maps. The host Marni, responded to email contacts very promptly. She met us when we first arrived and was available to be contacted if required, not that we needed to as we were too busy having fun. The location of the house was great. It was on a quiet road, within walking distance of several of the Brewster beaches, although I would recommend driving to them if you are taking beach equipment or a packed lunch. Take a packed lunch to the beaches - you can use the cool box provided in the house. From Brewster, the rest of Cape Cod is easily accessible by car, and one of the cycle routes runs through Brewster - we hired bikes and cycled to its northern end at Wellfleet, and then a short distance beyond to a beach on the eastern coast."

Clean, short distance from to beaches and attraction and fully equipped. The owner is very easy to communicate with and accommodating. It would be great to have walking directions to local public beach included with welcome documents. Thank you.

Great place!

  • 5 of 5

I love staying here. Its nice and quiet but close to everything. A short bike ride to the beach and Kate's for clam strips or ice cream! The place is always super clean and we'll stocked. Management is super attentive. The only things that could be better is more comfy seating in the living room. One couch for 4 adults isn't quite enough. And perhaps a softer mattress in the master. Other than that, this place is great!

Perfect home for our vacation

  • 5 of 5

We were a family of four from Scotland and a couple from California and this was the perfect rendezvous spot. The house was super clean, spacious, light filled, and nicely decorated. The first floor master suite worked well for the couple, and the family had the upstairs bedrooms and bath. The house is near the Bay beaches and the iconic Brewster Store. There are nature trails and galleries and antique shops nearby. We had a delicious meal at Chillingswoth Bistro. Marni the owner is very responsive and helpful. We would rent this lovely home this again.

Comfortable and Convenient

  • 5 of 5

We have been to this house several times and always enjoy going there. It has an open floor plan with lots of windows which give the comfortable living area a bright, cheerful feel on a sunny summer day. The kitchen is well equipped. One can easily prepare meals. The master bedroom and master bath are conveniently located on the first floor as are the half bath, washer and dryer. Looking outside, there is conservation land across the street and a wooded area to the rear. Neighbors on either side are a distance away. When hitting the road, Route 6A, the historic Mid Cape highway, is easily accessible, so one can travel west to Hyannis, or east to Orleans and the Lower Cape. We particularly like this part of the Cape because the relative calm of Cape Cod Bay is nearby or one can travel a short distance south or east to the surf of the Ocean beaches. We find the Cape Cod National Seashore endlessly interesting. Fortunately, the Visitor Center is right down the road in Eastham. For comfort and convenience, we highly recommend this vacation venue.

A great place to relax while visiting the Cape.

  • 5 of 5

We've stayed at this location four times in the last few years. It is spacious with ample parking for several vehicles. The house is clean and well kept with an updated kitchen, washer and dryer, spacious closets, hardwood floors and a gas fireplace that makes it "homey" and romantic. It's location is convenient to several local beaches, the Cape Cod Rail Trail and the Mid Cape Highway. Nearby attractions include the Cape Rep Theater, Stony Brook Grist Mill and the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History as well as many excellent restaurants and shops along Rt 6A. Early. Morning walks on the beach or into town for breakfast are our favorite ways to start the day and a great way to end the day is to take a bottle of wine down to Paine's Creek and watch tne sun set.
