In the historically and culturally rich neighborhood of Greenwich Village this fully furnished two bedroom apartment is a great find for your upcoming move. The apartment features hardwood floors, great quality furniture, and tasteful decorative touches. Step into the multifaceted and well put together living room area. The dark leather loveseat, stylish stone top coffee table, and high definition television and art décor all come together to form a comfortable and stylish sitting space to enjoy some down time. The simple but sophisticated marble top dining table on the side is the perfect way to make the most of your meals and space. Just across the half wall division the fully equipped kitchen includes all basic utensils, including a Keurig, and microwave, conventional oven, and tea kettle for your outmost convenience. The white bathroom features soft beige tile accents, wide mirror and wood cabinets. Both bedroom include a queen sized bed, nightstand, and dresser for your belongings. The building includes the benefit of being an elevator building with a doorman.

If the apartment itself has not convinced you yet, then you have to learn about all the benefits of your surrounding in the Village. From the neighborhoods off grid street structure, alternative culture, artistic vibe, and numerous entertainment options this is one of the most charismatic areas of the city. There is a European feel in the architecture made up by shorter buildings and townhouses, with surprising courtyards and gardens that also enjoy the gleam of more sunshine. From hip cafes, bars, variety of restaurants, and performance venues there is never a dull moment in the village. The ambiance is laid back but sophisticated with the streets filled by NYU students, couples and families. Although the original artist and musicians have move, the neighborhood retains its unique character of rebellion and artistry that you are bound to fall in love with.

This apartment is very well situated in Greenwich Village, a very nice and safe place, with a lot of nice restaurants, bars and convenience shops. The apartment itself isn't big but enough for our family of 5 persons. It was received recently some repairs works, the furniture was quite new and very well conserved. The kitchen and WC are small but once again enough for a touristic stay (we have used the apartment almost only to sleep...). The checkin/checkout process was easy and efficient. I highly recommend this apartment.

Could be great but...

Location is perfect. Two bedrooms are lucky to find. Problems to address are: mattress extremely soft and not good for backs, A/C not working, and TV remote buttons don't function so essentially TV unaccessible. With these issues corrected it would be a 5 star.

Great location. Loved the historic building. Walking distance to lots of shops, bars, restaurants, and grocery stores. Check in and out was easy. Would highly recommend this apartment.

If you wish to be in the center of Greenwich village, this is a great choice. the fairly new two bedroom apt. is as described in the listing. Two generous sized bedrooms with compact kitchen/bathroom, living area. air conditioning works well in bedrooms. no problem with owner or finding it. everything works as advertised. We would definitely like to stay here for future visits.

Location

The neighborhood is bordered by Broadway to the east, the Hudson River to the west, Houston Street to the south, and 14th Street to the north, and roughly centered around Washington Square and New York University. The neighborhoods surrounding it are the East Village and NoHo to the east, SoHo to the south, and Chelsea to the north. The East Village was formerly considered part of the Lower East Side and never associated with Greenwich Village. The West Village is the area of Greenwich Village west of 7th Avenue, though realtors claim the dividing line is farther east at 6th Avenue. The Far West Village is a sub-neighborhood from the Hudson River to Hudson Street.
