This well maintained and lushly landscaped property has 2 pools - each with a hot tub. There's also a sand volley ball court, several gas grills & picnic tables, plus a private tennis court. BEST of all, the boardwalk out front leads to the famous 30A bike/hike trail just steps from the Spooky Lane Beach Access. (We have a storage unit with beach cart, umbrellas, chairs and toys for your use) This beach is semi-private and so is never too crowded. Also, Gulfview Heights Beach Access is just a few blocks to the East, where parking and restrooms are available. The keyless entry with your own code eliminates keeping up with keys. Drive right up to your door and park 2 cars in the lighted covered space under the unit. There is more parking available on-site as well. New wood and tile flooring as well as granite countertops have been installed, new furniture (including memory foam mattresses), new fridge, dishwasher, microwave, full size washer & dryer, small appliances, window treatments plus 3 new flat screen TV's, DVD players, cable and WiFi. Freshly painted throughout. This 'living large' 1400 sq. ft. town home offers a fully stocked kitchen with corner pantry and adjoining laundry room. The granite breakfast bar adds additional seating and leads into the roomy dining/living area and half bath. A new Sealy Queen Size Sofa Sleeper offers additional sleeping space. Sliding glass doors lead from the living area to a covered deck with table and chairs, overlooking the West pool & hot tub and the volleyball court. Join in the activities, or sit and watch while you relax on your front porch. Upstairs , you'll find two big bedrooms and plenty of closet space. The Master bedroom has a King bed and the dual sink bath has a deep jetted tub - Jacuzi for Two - and a separate shower. Off the Master is a private deck with table & chairs and a beautiful treetop view with a peek of the gulf. The second bedroom has two Queen Beds and its own full bath, walk in closet, and windows that overlook the tennis court.

About Amy Porter Baker

We moved to the Destin/South Walton area in 1992 from Dallas. You can get folks out of Texas, but never can get the Texas out of the folks. However, we love this area and our two children are grown and have settled in to Northwest Florida to stay. Now that there are Grandkids involved, I guess we'll never leave either!

Amy Porter Baker is our on site property manager. She is a dedicated professional and she does a wonderful job taking care of our guests!

Why Amy Porter Baker chose South Walton

Our family loves 30A - we refer to it as '30Ahhh'. If you've spent time here before, you understand why. And if you haven't been down yet, you'll understand when you get here. It is the most beautiful, artistic, scenic place in the world and it soothes our soul. So when we had the opportunity to buy this town home in March 2014 so near the beach, we jumped on it. We plan on it being a long-term vacation home that our current and future families will enjoy. The challenge was that it had to be totally renovated, from the walls out and the floors up, so good that we've got our kids and their kids that we could put to work!

What makes this townhome unique

We love this place. The amenities and grounds at Legends offer so much relaxation for old and young, and the close proximity to several beach accesses make this place perfect. Another plus are the high ceilings, spacious rooms and large closets. Even the laundry room is huge. It feels like a home and not like a condo or rental. The deck off the Master Bedroom is private and will have it's own table & chairs, but if you want to socialize, you can join your neighbors sitting on the deck off the living room downstairs. It overlooks the West pool and the volley ball court. (Easy to supervise the grandkids from there!) Can't wait to quit painting and go sit . . .

More wonderful restaurants than you can hit in a week and every kind of shopping experience you desire within a walk or short ride/drive.

Nice condo! Easy acess to the beach and pool.

Comfortable accommodations. Affordable.

Loved all the outdoor equipment in the storage shed. Amy, the manager, was very accessible and helpful. Lots of activities available (tennis, bike riding, volleyball, and beach days). We would stay here again.

Great location, easy beach access

Nice townhome with updates decor and all the amenities, including beach gear.

Property does have a common deck where people walk by your main floor access sliding door but since this unit was second to last (or if you know your neighbors) it wasn't a big issue. There's also a separate deck off the master bedroom.

Awesome!

We stayed at this property (2 adults and 3 kids) and loved it. The condo is very spacious and is a close walk to the beach. Its also close to a great coffee shop and places to eat. Amy (Property Manager) is great. She checked to make sure everything was all set before we checked in. She is very easy to reach if you need anything.

Wonderful Place to Vacation

Legends #302 was absolutely wonderful. The location was ideal, located near so many great restaurants and a park with live music. The condo itself was clean and roomy and stocked with great things for guests to enjoy. The balconies were perfect for relaxing, and the pool being right downstairs was a huge plus. We plan to be back ASAP!

Beach Therapy

We loved our stay on 30A! Your place is in a great location & a short walk for our daily trips to the beautiful beach. Kitchen was wonderful & well equipped, and loved the oversized washer & dryer. The storage unity with all of the beach toys & chairs/umbrellas was well used & appreciated. Amy works above & beyond to ensure your stay is perfect.

We enjoyed delicious fish dinners at the Local Catch & Stinky's Fish Camp. Both were very busy so we advise arriving early. Blue Mountain Creamery was a nightly stop & a short drive away. Enjoyed Pizza by the Sea which is a short walk away. The Perfect Pig serves delicious breakfast items with a fantastic wait staff, as well. With many families at Legends, there was quiet time at nights to enjoy family games on the deck & a peaceful night's sleep.

Highly recommend this property for a relaxing family get away!

Awesome home in a great location!

We had an absolute blast during our stay on 30A! The area in Santa Rosa is so beautiful and calm, especially when compared to busier towns like Seaside. For our family of 6 - four kids ages 2 mo, 6, 9 and 15 - it was so nice to have all of the amenities and conveniences of home with just a short walk to the beach. The property was clean, well-maintained and just as described. Amy worked closely with us to ensure we had a great stay - even making sure the pack-n-play was set up and ready when we got there. I don't think you could beat the convenience of the swimming pool located just behind the property - it was almost like having a private pool since there was never more than 2 or 3 families there at one time. We also appreciated the nice gas grills available and indulged in some great steaks while there! We would recommend this property to our friends/family and could definitely see ourselves staying again in the future.

In addition to the beach (there are three accesses nearby), pools & hot tubs, volleyball & tennis courts at LEGENDS, there are so many other attractions nearby. Gulf Place at the corner of 30A and 393 is an easy walk and has fun eateries, shops and frequent concerts. Fabulous food and shopping is along 30A in both directions, just short walks or bike/car rides away. We are close to several world famous golf courses and deep sea fishing and dolphin cruises can be booked in Destin. There is also a riding stable nearby that offers trailrides. Beach activities and rentals are available in the 30A area, and you can jog or bike (bring your own if you'd like) along 30A's scenic bike/walking path - just across the street. This path runs 19 miles through the beach communities of Blue Mountain, Grayton, Watercolor, Seaside, Seagrove, Alys, Seacrest and Rosemary Beaches. Also a must for your 'things-to-do list' are touring the rare Dune Lakes along 30A and also visiting Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, Grayton Beach State Park, Eden Gardens State Park and Point Washington State Forest. There are many others, but these are the closest (and the best). The famous Silver Sands Outlet Mall is just to the West of 30A toward Destin and is a fun day in itself.
