About Victoria Ramirez
My husband & I are native to Northern California and share 6 grown children, and 6 grandchildren. One of our all time favorite things to do together is to travel the world. We have traveled through most of Latin America, Europe, and the UK. Since retirement, we have concluded that Mexico is the most special country of them all. We decided to buy our second home in San Miguel. We now live part time in Northern California and part time in San Miguel.
Victoria Ramirez purchased this House in 2012
Why Victoria Ramirez chose Atascadero
We chose this property because it is in an upscale, beautiful neighborhood which is quiet, but yet a 10 minutes peaceful walk to the Jardin, the center of San Miguel. On weekends due to many tourists visiting the centro it can get very noisy and loud.
What makes this House unique
There is a beautiful boutique hotel "La Puertacita" right across the street, which is perfect for breakfast, dinner or a cocktail.

Perfect location and great service
This lovely house is in a great location. We walked down to the city center each day and usually caught a cab home. Uber will pick you up if you are able to wait 10-15 minutes depending on the time of day.
We loved the quiet neighborhood yet close proximity to the city center. Franscisco is a gem- so helpful and personable.
Fantastic property to enjoy San Miguel de Allende
Beautiful house with a lot of space for 6 people. Great outdoor terraces and grill place, large leaving spaces and really quite. Just 10 minutes walk down to SMA center, and a few dollars UBER ride back, if you don’t like to walk uphill. The local host was very friendly and always on time. We loved our staying here.
This Atascadero was perfect. It is beautifully decorated, clean, a short 10 minute walk away from the buzz of town and super charming. Francisco the care taker was so sweet and accommodating answering any questions we had and arranging drivers for day trips.
We were three, mother and two brothers, and it was perfect for everyone's privacy. No stepping on each other but having adequate privacy in the 3 separate bedrooms/baths. There was nothing to say negatively about this Atascadero. We would all return in a heart beat.
Thank you for your accurate photos and descriptions.
Les doy un 100
Me gusto muncho la casa y la ciudad
We had a great time here. Francisco was one terrific host. He even met us the next morning to take us to the market and a good carniceria. Note that the house is very vertical- so lots of up and downs a t high elevation (good excercise for us tho). It really is a neat layout architecturally. Also, be aware that there are lots of - sort of unexpected - extra steps that could be a hazard for some, at night especially. The views from the mirador in the first night (sat) ofnthe fireworks over town were awesome. The fireworks on Sunday morning at 6 am to 7 am not so much. Part of the SMA experience- this house is much quieter than places in Centro would be- and it stayed cool if you close the blinds in the upper bedrooms in the afternoon.
This is an absolutely beautiful house in the hills of San Miguel away from the noise and crowds. The house is beautifully decorated and the view, incredible. The host, Francisco, was wonderfully attentive and kind. Be aware that each bedroom is on a different floor and that it is a walk downhill to town and a probable cab ride home. It was an incredible choice for our stay in San Miguel de Allende.
