About the property

This traditionally styled comfortably furnished villa resides in the peaceful Costa Nova residential district of Javea just 4km from the sandy Arenal beach and 4 minutes from the nearest supermarket (open Sunday). Located on the pine covered plateau which overlooks Javea, the villa is ideally located for leisurely walks or cycle rides to unwind after a day on the beach.

Built on a single level with no steps, baring a flight of 8 steps which descend from the terrace to an expansive back garden (1200m2) with private fenced pool, the property provides an ideal haven for families and adults of all ages.

The villa comprises 3 bedrooms: 2 doubles and 1 twin, each with fitted wardrobes, ceiling fans and mosquito screens to ensure a cool comfortable nights sleep. There is a main bathroom with shower, hand basin, WC and bidet, and a separate shower room with purpose built walk-in shower, toilet and wash basin. The fitted kitchen is fully equipped with a gas hob and electric oven, a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, kettle etc and all the crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils you could need. A cot and high chair are available on request.

The lounge with traditional terracotta floor and fireplace has satellite TV for UK, French and other continental channels, a DVD and spacious sofas on which to relax. Double glazed French sliding doors lead out onto the covered Naya and open terrace which overlook the pool and back garden - ideal for those who want to relax in the shade or catch some sun, without losing contact with those in the villa.

Out door facilities: Take advantage of the BBQ on the terrace and the large teak table and chairs to enjoy your alfresco meals… particularly agreeable in the evening overlooking the floodlit pool.

The 10x5m private pool with Roman steps and its sun loungers is an ideal sun trap with some welcome shade provided by the palm tree. Although no pool is totally safe a perimeter fence provides extra security for young children while the 2-3m hedge surrounding the garden ensures privacy.

There is parking in the driveway for up to two cars.

For those wishing to stay during the winter months Costa Nova is a well established residential area with many permanent and winter residents. The area is surrounded by pinewoods providing a variety of walks with magnificent views of the bay of Javea within a short distance from the villa. The villa is oriented South, has gas central heating and is double glazed through out. The naya converts into a very agreeable veranda.

We found the property to be just what we needed and had one of the most relaxing weeks holiday ever, just what we needed this year.

The villa felt very homely as soon as we walked in and Lynn was so helpful, a lovely lady. We really wished we could have stayed for two weeks.

Great Villa

We stayed here in June 09, a party of 4 adults and 2 children. The villa was great, had all the facilities you could need, with a large garden, terrace and outdoor space as well as a fabulous pool. The pool was fenced off which was great with 2 young children, the property is very private and there a few restaurants within walking distance and Javea is only 5 mins away by car - the beach at Arenal is lovely. All in all a great holiday in a lovely area - would highly recommend.

Superb Villa

This was our second stay in the villa, and could not recommend it more highly. The villa is very private and the separate pool is great for any families with children, the pool itself is well maintained and larger than normal providing a great family space. The villa itself is lovely, with many Spanish characteristics, making it a lovely holiday home. The owner and Lynn (who manages the villa) are very helpful and friendly. We will certainly return again. The villa is a 5 minute drive from the arsenal beach and in a very quiet and private location.

Fun in the Sun

Just returned from our second extended stay at this villa, we had no hesitation whatsoever in re-booking as the villa is delightful. As someone has already mentioned the villa is in a great location, very quiet and private (not overlooked) but is close enough to all Javea has to offer, Arenal beach is less than 5 minutes by car. The villa itself is clean, spacious and well equipped and if anything the photos do not do it justice. The naya and outside terrace are perfect for alfresco dining and overlook the gardens which were a riot of colour. The larger than average pool is totally fenced off with a lockable gate which provides peace of mind as we have three young children. It was a pleasure dealing with the owner and also Lynn (the lady who looks after the villa) who were very friendly and always on hand if needed. We would most definitely recommend this villa to family and friends and are already planning to re-book next year for the third time.

Fantastic Villa, great, quiet and peaceful location, only a short drive to a range of beaches and shops. Great for families, plenty of space, and a fantastic pool. Gated area on the pool was great for the kids. Completely private, not overlooked. Everything you need is at the villa for a great holiday. Friendly owner, effecient booking, payment and directions. Friendly and helpful people in Javea to meet and greet. Fab Holiday.
