I was raised in Moab and graduated from Grand Co. High. Jay was raised in Bishop CA. He moved to Moab in 1977. We met and were married 4 months later in '78. Moved so he could go to college at the U of U. He graduated with a BS in Electrical Engineering. Have moved to AZ and CA for work. When I told him I was ready to 'go home' back to Utah he took our family home. We currently live near Salt Lake City Utah and love to spend many weekends in Moab. We have 4 married kids and 9 grand children that all love to spend time here as well here . What a wonderful gathering place!!!
Debbie Beauregard purchased this townhome in 2014
Our family loves to come here to visit, fish, hunt, hike and especially ride our ATV's. There is so much diversity between the mountain and the valley activities we enjoy. When it gets too hot in the valley we head for the mountains. It's at least 15-20 degrees cooler up there and so beautiful.
This is one of the best, unique units in Moab. We fell in love with special look and the views from looking out the windows.
We loved the layout and decor. The kitchen was very well equipped with cookware, utensils and small appliances ... even a crock pot. We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna and multi-spray headed shower after full days of hiking and mountain bike riding. The mattresses, bedding and all the furniture, washer and dryer were all just top notch. Visiting in the winter worked out very well; we just had to dress for the weather in layers so we could adapt as it started out cold and warmed up a bit each day. We hiked in Arches, Canyon Lands, Dead Horse State Park, Goblin State Park and Little Wild Horse Canyon. All these places were great. I think my favorite place was the Fiery Furnace in Arches. Bike riding at Moab Brand Trails was perfect: easier trails to get use to riding on the slick rock, and then progressively harder trails right up to what I took for expert trails. The bike shop rented us a bike rack for $10 a day so transporting bikes was no problem. We were here a week and think there was at least another week or two worth of hiking and biking venues left to do. So we will be back and would definitely stay at Debbie's wonderful home again.
It's a great condo! Fantastic ammenities. The out door kitchen was perfect. Pictures don't do the place justice!
If you have the opportunity to stay at this home - Do Not Miss It!! Debbie has thought of every amenity you could want and her home is so beautifully appointed - I wish we had allotted more time in Moab just enjoy this home! The sauna was an amazing way to unwind after a long day in the parks and my wife really enjoyed the steam shower. I can't say enough about the hospitality this home affords!!
Thanks again Debbie!!
For our recent 4-day vacation to Moab we were lucky to find this wonderful townhouse (# E2) in Rim Village. For our group of two couples it was a very good deal, maybe costing less than what two rooms in one of the nicer hotels in Moab would have been. We didn’t use one of the 3 bedrooms in the unit, so it would have been an even better deal for 6 people, and it could comfortably accommodate 6 adults (plus 2 kids in bunk beds). The hot tub and outdoor BBQ were nice bonus features. The hot tub was a deluxe model with more features than I’ve ever seen before. The kitchen and bathroom included everything visitors should need. The window in the larger of the two non-master bedrooms faces east, and the sunrises over the east rim were beautiful. As was star viewing at night, since Rim Village is about 4 miles south of the Moab downtown and therefore away from the downtown lights of Moab. The unit is very nicely decorated with southwestern and Kokopelli art and themes. I only have positive things to say about unit E2. I would choose that unit again in a heartbeat.
Had an amazing weekend stay at Mrs. Beauregard's home conveniently located minutes from downtown Moab and Arches National Park. Condo was beautifully decorated and full of relaxing amenities. What better way to end your hiking/outdoor ventures with a spacious rainfall/body shower/steam room, cozy sauna, or a dip in the outdoor hot tub. The house was well decorated/renovated from top to bottom, very clean, and well organized. Highly recommended areas to visit is Arches National Park (Delicate Arch, Landscape Arch, Double Arch, etc), Corona Arch, Mesa Arch, and Dead Horse Point. You will not be disappointed. Coming from Los Angeles, this was an amazing getaway!
We all really loved the condo and the facilities at the complex. The only negative for me is that I assumed that if no pets were allowed at the condo, then there had not been pets at the condo, especially cats. I am allergic and my allergies were awful every night. If you are not allergic to pets then this is a great place to stay, but if you have allergies I would advise to look elsewhere.
