We had a very enjoyable stay here on the Flathead River. The house was more than we expected. Very nice. We did not notice in the listing that the house did not have Air Conditioning, but even during late July it cooled down nicely in the evenings. The scenery was spectacular, swimming in the river was great. The pictures of the river do not do it justice. We went to some of the area towns, Plains, Hot Springs and Kalispell. We went to the Bison Range and Glacier National Park. Very nice time, hope to return at some time.
We had a wonderful time in this well-equipped home right on the Flathead River. Our children enjoyed playing in the water, fishing, looking for crawdads and snails, and exploring the shore. We spent time at the Bison Range, the local hot springs, the Amish area, and just general exploring. This home was a perfect base for those activities. Beautiful big kitchen and living room area. Nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Very clean! We will be back for a longer stay next time
Our family group of 10 (3 married couples, 3 singles and an infant) stayed here and had an awesome weekend with a great view right on the rive. Easily able to go to Plains, MT, The Bison Range at Moiese, Quinn's Hot Springs. Lots of fishing, hiking, exploring and wildlife viewing close by. Kitchen was adequate for our group and we did most of our own meals at the house, although no dining table inside.
Very quiet and great get-away with no cell service or Internet. 3rd bed is a futon and we brought air mattresses and cots for the extras. Plenty of space outside in fenced yard for parking or outdoor activities.
Our party of 5 adults and two 10 year old children spent some great time at this wonderful house. It is a very nice house, well furnished and stocked, located on the river and located close to fun things to do(National Bison Range, Hot Springs, St Ignatius and others). Nice and quiet, beautiful surroundings, enjoy the river view from the deck, fishing in the river and more. A person can even visit with Harold at the Old Perma Store for more history of the area. We want to return to this great property.
Needed a last minute place to stay while in nearby Plains, MT for a weekend rodeo. The property manager got right back to my request and I was able to book it a day before we were supposed to leave. The house was beautiful, and sits right on the river which is where we spent our evenings. Very peaceful and quiet setting, the only other thing we heard was the nesting Osprey
Lovely home along the river. Easily found, yet away from civilization. View of the river and far bank from the breakfast bar and patio. We didn't see any wildlife while we were there, but were told they come and go. Comfortable beds, warm and snug. I'll have to come back in the summer to spend more time outdoors.
