This first floor apartment has been completely renovated. We tried to save the charm of an old city building and brought some new contemporary features. Refinished hardwood floors, New windows, New Heating and cooling system, Kitchen, dining nook, and bathroom are just few things you will love here. The apartment is very big (1500 sq feet) and has three private bedrooms, so plenty of room for all family members or co-workers.
Central location makes it perfect for exploring St Louis. It is within 10 minutes driving to all major attractions, Hospitals, and Schools.
We love City living, Super fast developing St Louis city, gardening, traveling and hosting travelers.
Dmitriy Kabargin purchased this apartment in 2013
We admire old charm in these St Louis city buildings, closeness to all the events and attractions. We are glad that St Louis has great neighborhoods like this.
We love to work on old city buildings and bring them back to live. There is so much character and charm in these buildings that you will never find it in new construction. As you know the old saying: 'They don't build anymore like they used to.' :) Please check out our work and hopefully enjoy it.
We stayed in this apartment for eight nights. The first three nights/days were corporate meetings and the split dining areas at each end of the apartment were perfect for break-away meetings. Large tables with plenty of power for laptops and great natural light. The remaining time was during a trade show at the Americas Center, a quick drive every morning from the apartment.
The creaky wood floors took some getting used to but as the owner said, "Squeaky floors are just a part of older, charming buildings." Newer washer and dryers downstairs were convenient and the chickens in the corner of the back patio were a nice surprise! The owners responded immediately via text regarding any and all questions. The apartment was well stocked if you should want to cook but there is a plethora of eclectic and standard food options available within walking distance.
This renovated apartment was a nice part of our weekend trip to St. Louis and served our needs well. The apartment was easy to find and quick access to downtown, the airport, Forest Park, the Zoo, and restaurants in the suburbs. There was plenty of parking available on the street in front of the apartment. The apartment was very clean and well organized so we didn't have to look for anything. The three bedrooms accommodated four adults very well and there is plenty of space in the dining and living room areas. The kitchen has been renovated is and is very nice. The owner, Dmitriy, was very helpful and quick to respond although we didn't have any issues during our stay. We would stay here again!
This house was perfect for our Christmas celebration with our family in St. Louis! We are from South Florida, but two of our children and their families live in St. Louis. Our other two children and their spouses joined us at the Oleatha Avenue house for the family celebrations of Christmas and New Years. The three bedrooms accommodated six adults very well and the combined living and dining room space was spacious and comfortable for gift exchange and holiday dinner for 11! The kitchen was clean and large and conveniently equipped for us to make several meals. The owner, Dimitiry, was helpful and responsive although we had no problems that needed to be addressed. The house was clean and in a good neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed our 5-day vacation in St. Louis. This renovated unit served our needs and was optimal size for 5 adults. The kitchen was gorgeous and newly re-done. The formal dining room table showed some wear and tear, but was plenty big for our need. The furnishings were comfortable. Due to the fact that the building is old, the floors make a noise when you walk in the hallway. Also some of the doors and window seals are showing their age. The location of the home is convenient and street parking is always available. The YMCA is near by and a great place to work-out (especially with a two-day free pass). Dmitriy was a responsible and cordial host (thank your for the welcome gift). Although we enjoyed our stay and the opportunity to visit family in town, next time we would prefer a different accommodation.
We were very very pleased with our stay at Dmitryi's place in St. Louis. Very conveniently located to the places we wanted to go to (e.g. Missouri Botanical Garden, The City Museum) and the place itself was spacious and clean. On the day of check-in, Dmitryi brought us a dozen of donuts as a welcome package! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great place to stay while visiting St. Louis.
This is a very comfortable and clean three bedroom flat in St Louis which consists of three bedrooms and one bathroom. Great location and easy to find and within good proximity to local attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend to others. Dimitiri was a really nice guy and easy to work with. If I was here in the area again I would definitely recommend to anybody. Thank you for our stay and thank you for the donuts!
