Why Michael Calderone chose The Village of Southampton
Unpretentious Beach Cottage located by Little Peconic Bay seeks a tenant who wants to come and relax after a long weekJust a few flip flops to the beach, the sound and smell of the sea air permeating will just take the week away as you relax on your deck with a cocktail and watch fiery sunset or sit on the beach with your toes in the soothing salt water. The cottage is nicely situated to take full advantage of its location, just a few houses in from the private community beach overlooking Little Peconic Bay and the North Fork of Long Island. A master bedroom with private bath opens directly to the large deck, and there are 2 additional guest bedrooms and full bathroom. The living room features vaulted ceilings plus an eat-in kitchen. The large, L-shaped water view deck is outfitted with an outdoor shower.

Exactly what we were looking for!
We were happy to find this property in the neighborhood we wanted to be in. The proximity to the beach was ideal, and the home itself felt larger than it appeared in the photos. The new bunk beds were perfect for my 2 boys. There were plenty of beach and bath towels, and the kitchen was also well stocked with plenty of plates, glasses and pots and pans. The gas grill was convenient and easy to use.
The beach here is perfect for kids- with more sand than some parts of Peconic Bay, and a roped in swimming area to keep boats away from swimmers.
All in all this was exactly what our family was looking for in a summer rental.
Thanks again Michael!
Erica and her family were a delight to host ,would love them to come back anytime .
The property is quiet and relaxing
Had a great time, the house is relaxing and quaint! Great outdoor shower and the bbq is excellent for cooking dinner on! Would recommend staying here! 👍🏼
John was an amazing guest, he took such good care of my cottage and kept it very clean. I love having guests like him .
Heaven is a little closer in a home by the sea
We had a very enjoyable stay. Michael was very helpful with arranging a complex reservation. His wife, Mila, met us at the cottage and showed us all of the features. They welcomed our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. The deck has gates so the dog could be loose outside. The sliding glass doors in the kitchen and master bedroom brighten the rooms and provide convenient access to the deck. The kitchen has nice appliances. During the week we had two to four guests staying with us. They all complimented the arrangements and the comfortable beds. We would have packed a little lighter if we had realized that beach towels would be provided. The bay water is warmer and calmer than the ocean providing enjoyable swimming. You can walk for about a mile on the beach at low tide. Nonresidents can access the ocean beach at Avenue D in Southampton. The farm which originated Tate’s cookies is a convenient source of fresh produce, milk, eggs and bread. We were surprised to see that they were now selling Tate’s ice cream. A delicatessen and several restaurants are also nearby. Southampton and Sag Harbor are just a short drive. This cottage was an affordable way for us to return to the beach where our family had owned property for 90 years. This trip added to the many happy memories we have of this area.
Stephen has rented my home several timesHe and his family are the best.Thank you very much for your great review , please come back soon .
