6 Bedroom Beach Front Penthouse with Private Beach & Daily Maid Service

When it comes to location, it doesn’t get much better than this. Palmera Penthouse is is a 6-bedroom penthouse located directly on the magnificent Bávaro Beach in Los Corales with private beach area and fantastic Ocean Views.

The penthouse is a the perfect spot for a getaway for a small group friends or a larger family.

You won’t believe that you’ve come home when you drive into the quaint area of Los Corales, down the narrow streets and finally reach the big gate that leads to the Floor del Mar condominium.

The penthouse has 2 levels. On the entrance level you will find a big living room, connected to the dining area and open kitchen. You will also find 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.

A stairway leeds to the upper level, where you will find the last 2 bedrooms sharing a bathroom. On the other side of the stairway you will find the large rooftop terrace, which has been constructed as a green garden. Artificial grass, Plants, trees and flowers surrounds you on 2 sides, and makes you focus on the breathtaking ocean view from the terrace.

Custom build lounge furniture, outdoor dining area for 12, BBQ and breathtaking ocean views are just some of the elements of the Roof Top Terrace.

This Penthouse unit is fully air-conditioned and each bedroom has its own LCD/LED TV with cable.

You have free wifi throughout the unit.

During the day you can, of course, enjoy the beach or the community swimming pool.

In the evening, you have the possibility of dining “alfresco” on the rooftop terrace and enjoy a BBQ dinner or you can explore one of the many local restaurants located within a few minutes walk from the unit (incl. Italian, Cuban, Brazilian, International, Thai, etc.).

The rental includes daily maid/cleaning service.

Additional services, which can be provided (subject to availability and extra charges), include:

About Anders Bogebjerg

My name is Anders Bogebjerg, and I am the property manager of Palmera Penthouse.

I am a professional (PGA) golf player and former European Junior Champion from Denmark. Before moving to Punta Cana, I was playing golf professionally in Scandinavia and Europe at Challenge Tour level. From 2000 I began working in the traveling industry every winter season for Danish traveling agencies as a golf pro, representative and destination manager. In 2002 my travels took me to the Dominican Republic, where I settled down and took over Palmera Travel together with my wife, Rawnie Hansen. We have been living in Punta Cana full time since 2005, where we specialize in customizing vacation packages for travelers from around the world. In 2008 we started managing luxury vacation properties, which is where our focus currently lies.

We manage several properties in the area of Los Corales, and when we came to see the Palmera Penthouse, it was a very old and worn-down property which needed a complete makeover.

We love the location and the unique location and the views, so we took it over and started the complete renovation of the place. Initially it was a 4 bedroom, with a lot of waisted space on the room top terrace.

We decided to transform it into a 6 bedroom so we took half of the space of the rooftop terrace and build 2 bedrooms and a bathroom up there.

We have tried to keep the whole renovation of the property in a modern beach-like style, all in white/black with a few touches of color here and there.

What makes this condo unique

Palmera Penthouse is located in Los Corales in the heart of Bavaro. You are within walking distance to 9 restaurants, several bars, bakeries, cafe's, mini markets etc.

Apart from that you have a private beach area with private beach lounge chairs belonging to the unit.

Fantastic location, beautiful place.

We stayed at the penthouse with 10 people and a toddler. Overall the stay was great, the only reason it doesn't have 5 stars is due to a couple of minor shower plumbing issues. The location of the place is amazing, just steps away from the beach, its walking distance away from restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores. The beach is well maintained and close to a bar which would bring drinks to your beach chair. The penthouse itself is very well laid out and modern, there is a large table inside and outside, who made it convenient to have meals together no matter the weather ( which was perfect the whole week we were there). Rooftop patio is very nice and has great views. I second all the other reviewers and say that Flor was amazing - her warm personality immediately made you feel at home. She cleaned and helped us cook, did our laundry whenever needed - she is one of the best assets of the house. I was a little concerned about having to worry about food for such a large group - but I actually prefer it to all-inclusive now. The staff helped me with the grocery list, and the fridge was full of necessities when we arrived. Towards the end we just went out to eat which allowed us to taste some local cuisine. We hired a chef for 1 day and that was amazing - one of the best ceviche and flan that I have ever tasted. Overall, I would highly recommend this place for a vacation.

Not as nice as it appears

This would be a good place for a large group of college students. It is a little old and needs a deep cleaning. The rooftop needs some decent furniture, but you should know that this is a short walk to the beach - not beachfront like the zoom lens picture makes it look. Management are good, nice people but this is not a good value unless you are packing it with 12 people. We are just a family of four who thought we were renting a very nice location on the beach. We rented it for 8 nights and left after 5.

I am sorry to hear that the property did not fully live up to your expectations and that we were not able to accommodate you and your family for the entire stay of 8 nights as you had planned. I just wanted to reply to a few of your comments, if I may. The photos on the listing do show the Penthouse as it is and we haven’t used any zoom lenses in taking the photos from the roof top terrace towards the beach. The Penthouse is located directly on the beach (you step out of the building and directly onto the sand), although I do agree that you need to take a short walk to actually get to the ocean. The furniture of the roof top terrace is actually less than a year old, but I am sorry to hear that you did not like them. You are right that the Penthouse is located in an older building. About a year ago, we spent months renovating the Penthouse in order to update and improve on the quality. As it is located on the beach, with all the sand and salt from the ocean constantly flowing in the air, it will probably always feel a little dirty…it is impossible to keep a beach property squeaky clean, as the sand and salt is always getting through the doors and windows when they are open. Again, I thank you for your feedback which is very important to me and to my staff.

We love Flor and Miss G!

To deal with 11 guys is certainly an undertaking, but Miss G and Flor were the absolute best! Miss G was our property manager and was invaluable to us having a great stay. She was super attentive if we needed food, beverages or recommendations. Flor, our house manager, was amazing! We couldn't have asked for more other than coming home to made beds and a clean house, but Flor took it so much further by making us breakfast using what we bought (trust me the last thing you feel like doing after a day of beach drinking is making breakfast!). She was so friendly and such a good sport to deal with the lot of us.

The property itself is perfect. The resorts have nothing on this property. It's on its own private beach (the resorts are just to the south, but you only notice them if you walk past them). You literally don't need shoes or sandals ever - its 150 meters to the beach. You'll need shoes to explore the local area, but it's soooo worth it. Several great bars. Get a local meal at Gladys. Get some nightlight on the beach at Onos.

Miss G made everything super easy. Communication from the GroupPalmera before our arrival was really easy too. I'd definitely recommend this property.

Great times!

Good afternoon Anders,

Hope all is well, I want to thank you and your staff for making this on of my best international trips I've taken.

Your staff and associates (the drivers) were all Super professional and on time.

Griselle is Amazing, Your very lucky to have her there. She really made the trip all that much better. Her knowledge of all the bars, clubs, beaches, and people was superb. We honestly don't think the trip would have been that great without her there.

Flor was amazing, waking up to breakfast and her cleaning up after our "Fun" was crucial. She was so nice, happy, and she made really good Mangu!

Rori the chef kept us alive on saturday. Lunch and Dinner was amazing!

Once again thank you for everything, next time I go to D.R. I will definitely be staying in one of your places. I will recommend you guys to anyone who ask me about Dominican republic.

Fabulous accomodations, beach location, and staff to suit even the most discriminating travelers

For our 16th annual guys golf trip, we decided to stay at Palmera Penthouse and play fantastic courses in Punta Cana. The accommodations were fantastic, the staff extremely professional and attentive, and everything met the expectations of a very discerning group of world travelers. We had dinner prepared by the chef on the roof top terrace which was fantastic. The private beach is steps away from the penthouse and easily accessible. The area is safe and secure and walking distance to bars, restaurants, etc. I give it my highest recommendation.
